Read moreThe actual (Pavilion 1) location is really nice. It has convenient electric access, close bathroom facilities, and parking encircling the pavilion, which is very convenient! I can overlook some of the graffiti, but, trash was laying all around & under the pavilion, remnants from prior pavilion renters had not been cleaned. We had to do it ourselves before we could decorate for the baby shower, and of course the garbage cans were full. All of this, imo, is par for the course - not a huge deal. What IS a HUGE deal, is the lady that took down the Park Rangers sign saying that the pavilion was reserved for a private party, and proceeded to set up a child's birthday party. It's a shame to see the higher up's in the city of St Louis turn their heads away from a serious situation that's right in front of their faces. They should be ashamed of themselves and replaced by government officials who care. Instead of spending millions of dollars on a trolly car in university city that was scrapped after a few short years. Think of what that money could have done if they focused it on the homeless. Instead of a trolley car that nobody rode and caused nothing but traffic nightmares. Just saying!! This is ridiculous to say...
