This is my absolute favorite park I but was really disappointed on how they are operating the splash pad right now. They are only letting a certain number of kids in at a time due to covid, which first of all doesn't make sense. They don't care how many kids come to the park and touch all of the same equipment and how many kids come in contact with each other but they are worried about it when it comes to the kids playing in the chlorinated water.....um ok. There was a line and you had to wait until other kids came out to go in. I wasnt allowed to go in because it was over capacity and my daughter wouldn't have been able to go in and play so I had to stand on the other side of fence while her and her dad went in. So lame. What kid is going to want to stop playing on the splash pad? I know mine doesn't come out until I make her come out. If they are going to do it this way then they need to put a time limit on how long the kids are in there to be fair. Otherwise you have to stand in line for 50 minutes until they shut it down to sanitize it, which again is weird because it is constantly being sprayed with chlorinated water. Some of these covid rules...
ย ย ย Read moreThis park is perfect for us! My oldest (5 years) loves the splash pad and my youngest (3 years) prefers the playground equipment. I can keep an eye on both at the same time. There are two large structures build for disabled access and a splash pad with lots of different jets for playing. There play area is fenced in with a child resistant gate, and I think there is only one gate so if you have a runner, this is perfect. The rest of the park has a ball diamond, tennis courts, what appears to be a full size basketball court with no hoops. There is a cookout area with grill, and picnic tables. Throughout the space are lots of shade sails and trees and benches. There are also clean restrooms with a bench to change and outdoor shower. Overall, we are very impressed with this park and will be regular visitors. I expected it to be really crowded, and there are many people here, but it does not feel cramped or crowded. There is ample parking and leaked dogs are allowed, although I don't think they are allowed in the...
ย ย ย Read moreTemecula has some terrific parks with outstanding amenities. At the top of the list is Margarita Park. To quote Uncle Rico, โif I could only go back in timeโ. He proved that was not possible so we enjoy these fantastic parks through the eyes of our grandchildren. Margarita Park is a fantastic place to let the kids cool off. They have one of the nicest splash pads we have ever seen. So many water features that are not only fun but also very unique. Within the fenced splash pad is also a large playground with everything to keep the kids occupied and happy. The park has a pool, roller rink, dog park, pickleball courts, restrooms, shade, sports fields, etc. Margarita Park is a well planned community park and would stand out in any community. Our first visit will not be our last. With 7 grandkids we will be returning and enjoying the amenities this well planned out park...
