I drive a motorcoach and brought a student group to this hotel. We were met on the morning of day 2 by a VERY RUDE grumpy man (possibly the manager) who yelled at me for loading and unloading my group in front of the hotel. He said there was a sign saying no buses allowed. I tried attaching a picture of the sign but it won't upload. However, this sign is beyond faded and very difficult to read...especially when you arrive just before midnight. I have never been to this hotel so would have not known this. Obviously I did not see it nor was I looking for one. My focus was just getting my bus through a very difficult parking area so that my group could unload luggage and get some sleep. This very rude person could have asked me nicely but instead was very pushy even when I said I was getting ready to pull out of the hotel. The temperature of the room cannot be adjusted low enough to make it comfortable to sleep. My tour director and group were witnesses to this unprofessional display and will make it known to the tour company. Hopefully never use this location again in the future.

Okay, the hotel has potential to succeed, but there are many things lacking, first of all, the parking garage is not secure, anyone can just walk in, there is only one employee at the front desk, so he needs help, third, the hotel used to be a "Holiday Inn" so it's charging "Holiday Inn" price, but their is no breakfast, I also noticed that in the lobby, there are people that aren't guests that are just sitting there eavesdropping what paying guests are saying, so the security feature needs to be upgraded, there is a restaurant next door, but unsure if guests are even aware of that restaurant cause it's so dark, I don't think this hotel has a pool, but it looks like it should have one, overall, would stay again, but just add all of the features that I mentioned above and everything should be fine...

This place is a COMPLETE DISASTER! The rooms are old and MOLDY. We asked the desk clerk to change our room after we found out our mattresses were covered in mold, but he refused to help and was in disbelief. He told us it was impossible and that we had “the best room” of the hotel, even though our room was on the first floor with a parking lot view… He didn’t even try to find a solution to accommodate our needs. I had to ask him twice to get extra sheets and even that he gave us attitude. Overall, it was a very bad experience

Hi: I want to let every one know that how good this hotel is. We were there on Aug 7 and 8 of 2014 for two nights. The service was very good. The employees were very polite, ,friendly and helpful. The most important thing is the people who work in the hotel from the top to the bottom are very honest and trustable because we left our 4 passports and small box of our jewellery at the time

of check out in the room without noticing it. We left the hotel to another city and the next day when we wanted to get ready to comeback home we realized that our passports and box of jewellery are gone. You can imagine how we were feeling on that moment. We decided to go back to Totowa to the Holiday inn hotel to look for them with considering less then 5% chance that items to be there. After two hours of driving we reached to the hotel. As soon as we asked for the lost items with a very nice smile they told us that why we didn't answer their calls. They has called us more then 20 times and sent us texts as soon as we left the hotel the other day and they found the items in the room. The problem was that they didn't have the right phone number because at the check in time we didn't notice that the last digit of our phone number in their system was not correct and that was the reason that they could not reach us. You can't imagine how thankful we were when we saw our passports and box of jewellery. Rating this hotel as one of the best hotels that you can find because of their sincere and honest employe is the minimum that we can do .to let everyone know Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Maria, cleaning woman, her supervisor, reception and specially the manager or maybe the owner of the hotel. we will comeback and will let every one around us also know about your honesty and wonderful people who work there and made that hotel one...

Overall I give this hotel 1 star. As the other posts mentioned, the location is hard to find and the area is rather desolate and rundown (the various signs were hard to see). Additionally, we could not figure out how to turn off the restroom fan at night so we had to deal with that sound continuously running in addition to the noisy highway right next to the hotel. The lady working the front desk was kind and the man was okay. However, the largest complaint I have about this hotel is that they caused issues for our stay TWICE. The first day we checked in they forgot to give us our cards and we didn’t notice until we got to our room. We had to go all the way down to get our cards which was extremely inconvenient. The lady however apologized profusely and that issue ended pretty nicely. However, the second day, another issue arose. Both our cards stopped working! Even though we clearly told the staff that we were staying for TWO nights, the cards clearly did not work. Because of this, we again had to go downstairs to get our cards reprogrammed, yet this time there was no apology AT ALL. Simply a “two nights?” and goodbye. This second interaction was with the male receptionist. Overall the place was pretty clean and the breakfast was okay. However, it must be noted that each room only gets two breakfast meal tickets even if there are three guests in a room, as there were in our case. I definitely would not come back and do not recommend this place to others.

I also want to add that the WiFi is terrible here. When I simply tried to search something up on google it would take 3-5 minutes to load the page. I have never been at any Holiday Inn that provided such poor Internet connection. I had to use my cellular data my...

Not recommend for business travelers!

When you first enter, the sliding doors don't open well (often doesn't even open half way). Often, there is no one attending the front desk. This hotel caters to foreign tourists and their bus companies. This resulted in several nights of people loud in the hallway late into the night (midnight) and waking up early (5:30 am) allowing their doors to slam. Thr internet is super slow like what you had 20 years with AOL over the phone line. Every page takes between 1 to 2 minutes to load.

The room and the hotel are very outdated. The bathroom had long women's hair in it when I arrived and still had it there the next day after the room cleaners went through. The shower water temperature fluctuates quite frequently. The 27" TV often doesn't work properly with several channels not having volume.

They do provide a standard continental breakfast and decent newspapers. Parking is ample (most people here are in your buses) and even have covered ramp parking.

Overall, my recommendation is to stay somewhere else if you are going to be spending $139 per night for a...
