Starship Records & Tapes — Attraction in Tulsa

I love this place! They have an outstanding selection of smoking pieces and accessories which are reasonably priced, for the most part. I was astounded by a particular piece, which I just had to have: an amythest pipe! It's shape is beautiful and it's carved out of raw amythest! It really makes the marijuana smoking experience even that much more amazing and beautiful. Starship also has an excellent selection of music, of course. And if they don't have it, they will certainly order it for you at no extra cost. The band T-shirt selection is superb. They carry body jewelry as well as regular hippie types of jewelry. And incense galore. Nag Champa is harder to find elsewhere, but they always have it in stock here! I typically purchase my White sage stalks here, they're priced fairly and they carry the big ones I need. Cool novelties such as carved wooden boxes, satchels, tarot cards, lava lamps, trinkets, plushies, hats, black lights, artwork, native American memorabilia, books, games, movies, decorations, wallets, stationary, etc. They even have a section devoted to adult novelties/ accessories. You can get a record player here and they do still carry actual records in addition to cds and some cassette tapes. One of my favorite items are the round pins which are usually only $1 and located at the checkout counter, which is great because I won't forget to check them out each time I shop there. Starship is also the place to purchase supplements for cleansing. One panel drug test kits are fairly cheap and useful for ensuring a clean urinalysis. Starship is overall incredible and definitely one of my favorite places to shop or even just browse to pass the time. The sales associates are friendly, helpful and generally knowledgeable about the merchandise and more importantly about MUSIC. Great atmosphere and overall outstanding...

I necer thoufht id be saying thos about starship but they have gotten worse and worse recently but they used to be cool layed back and helpful ill never in my lofe go there again i got there at 852 pm on friday and for the 3rd time they wouldnt let me in o I even showed him the time he said oh sorry the owner shuts down and i asked to talk yo him they said he was busy and i could see him i left went to oz on 15th right around the corner and got there at 858 and they close at 9 also i left there at 908 with exactly what i needed and they were super nice and said oh no they would stay for any of there customers i was like wow man they are like starsbip was 20 years ago i am so sad and disappointed because i used to love that place and to know that I'll never step foot in there again go to oz 45 seconds away and so much cooler i would have given no stars but it...

I'm giving this spot 5 stars and yet what I wanted they do not carry... Regardless I have been hearing about this place since I moved to the Tulsa area in 2009...Always said I was going to go.... Never had until yesterday...First Timer.....I was much bigger than I thought it was going to be.....A vast collection of cd's don one wall...Numerous numerous cases of jewelry for every piercing out there ...tons of rings and bracelets and that is My Thing I could have spent a couple hours in there but I was passing by during lunch....It looks like they have done well these past decades when marijuana was far from being accepted at any level .. Now that it has made it to the pharmaceutical stage here in Oklahoma....I only hope Starship hits/finds new galaxies of profit and make a bunch of new friends along the way. ... Hats off to...
