Heritage Distilling Company — Attraction in Tumwater

We really enjoyed our visit and samplings. This place is easy to find, access,and exit. It is fully handicapped accessible with an elevator. The building is shared with the South Puget Sound Community College Brewing and Distilling classrooms and program. This is one of Heritage Distilling's newest locations. The staff is very costumer focused and knowledgeable of the products. The tasting room is large and airy. Early afternoon on a Saturday and there was only three tables of customers - perfect for us. There's an event room on the lower level and a good size outdoor deck area. Pricing is competitive at the bar and to go. Only giving 3 stars because this place is clean and the bartender was friendly. Other than that, not impressed at all. The waitress seemed to have zero interest in answering a couple of questions about the menu. Just very dismissive. The 2 food choices they have are ridiculously overpriced. $9 for a small cup with 4 triscuit crackers, 6 half inch cubes of cheese, 6 slices of salami, 2 pickled Asparagus spears, and a couple of sweet pickels!? Everything in it was from Costco. We also got the soft bavarian pretzel sticks with beer cheese. I saw the waitress pull them out of the microwave and then brought them over with a small dish of beer cheese that had maybe 4 tablespoons of dip. With that and 2 drinks it was $50. No thanks....

We have been fans of Heritage Distilling for many years so we were very excited when they opened this location! It is beautiful inside. The service is great, very knowledgeable and helpful. The blood orange vodka and huckleberry vodka are great for mixed drinks. We get the advent calendar every year which is worth the splurge! We were big fans of their BSB and always bought it as gifts for friends and family. Now we are all about the Cocoa Bomb (chocolate whiskey).
