TrainStation — Attraction in Hà Nội

To make the most of your visit, it’s a good idea to arrive about 30 minutes before the train is expected to pass. Train schedules can change and are often unpredictable, so coming earlier gives you more flexibility. You can ask people around you for updates on the train timing, including which days and hours are usually best. By doing this, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed or missing the moment.

Honestly, I was so curious and anxious to see this place, since this is a mandatory place to visit once in Hanoi but I was a bit disappointed. Place is of course heavily crowded, you must be there at least 45 minutes before the train, to be able to find a good spot. Train runs very slowly, it's nothing scary or to be afraid of. Coffee price depends on the place but an egg one is 60k VND, which is a normal price, not a scam. After the train passes, street is almost empty, if you want to use this opportunity to take more pictures. Nevertheless, a must see one in Hanoi 😉

Good place to hang out with family and friends. On 9 May 2025 we visited there. It is different experience. Took tea and snacks from nearby shop.( That only feasible as the food price is 3 times more than what is in just 200 meters distant shop)
