Big Horn Motel — Hotel in Town of Hinton

My husband and I broke down in Hinton and ended up stuck for a few days so we stayed at the Big Horn Motel, the room was filthy. The line of dirt under the heaters at the edge of the room must've been half an inch thick. The heating didn't work and even when we requested a heater (in -40!) the owner took over 3 hours to bring us one. She was extremely rude to myself whilst being over friendly, to the point of flirtatious with my husband directly infront of me. When we turned the lights off to sleep bugs emerged from every crack in the walls, floors and skirting boards and where absolutely everywhere which was disgusting. The maid let herself into our room the next morning without knocking or announcing herself in any way, while we were still in bed! There was no WiFi either despite it being advertised and us being told by the owner, Sandy, that it worked. I've only given this place one star to be able to review it, in all honesty I'd give it zero. I would never stay here again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone. Avoid...

We've stayed in many motels that have looked sketchy from the outside but have always been great rooms!! This place looks good on the outside and is terrible on the inside!!|We were told the room was non-smoking!! Then why when we opened the door did it smell like an old bar?? It was disgusting! Has it not been so late in the night and tires from hours of travelling we would have asked for a refund and left!! Instead we opened the window as there also is no a/c and turned on both fans to air our the room and feel cool.|The bed was supposed to queen sized but being we sleep on a queen size every night we know that they definitely were not queen sized beds!!|The chair in the room looks like it has been spilled on or worse and is so gross!|The bathroom ceiling stipple is coming off. |Would never recommend this place. My family would not let me go and talk to the management this morning as they knew what I had to say!!|Stay away from...

If we could leave less than 1 star I would. I'm having a hard time seeing the rating as 3/5. We stayed here months ago and I will never forget it. The smell was awful, it was so so awful. I can still taste how bad it smells. I felt terrible letting my kids sleep here. We were charged $160 for the night.... One Hundred and Sixty dollars for the most disgusting/dirty/dilapidated room I couldve imagined. The fact that they took that much from us and every other poor soul that has stayed here and havent put it into the motel for upgrades or even proper cleaning is disgraceful.
