Edgar refused to give me a refund, after he placed in fine print in an advertisement that this place was actually a hostel and not a private place. ||||There's the good, the bad, and the ugly.||||The bad is that I thought I was getting a private room. I'm new to AirBnB, and this is my first time I found out that rooms could be dorms. Edgar was terrible at customer service and was awful to me. After asking if we could reach a compromise or if he could offer me a refund for the second night, he responded like this by WhatsAPP: ||||The host, Edgar, didn't come meet me in person. I asked him by whatsapp if he could refund my second night at least or give me a private room. ||||Here were his responses: "[L]ife is about . . . thinking, you need to read and be sure[.]" Really rude response.||||"You should have read before choose . . ."||He also says: "It's not our mistake if you choose a dorm[.]"||He also says, "[C]ustomers need to be responsable [sic] about their choice . . . or pay the price of a private stay[.]"||||All the comments blame me; so he could justify keeping money. It's not a pleasant hospitable experience. He cares more about money than making the customer happy.||||The ugly. He started stuffing more people into the room like sardines. He turned a four person room into a six person room by adding a single mattress on the floor. From his own logic, he breaks his own rules by changing how many people can be a room. We're not anchovies. ||||Also, they're very controlling about alcohol. You can't bring your own beer; so, they could cheat you of more money. They didn't even offer the beer I liked there.||||The good. His breakfast was nice. It was good to meet some of the guests there.||||Overall - not recommended. Hosts don't care about you. Only...
Read moreThe place was close to where we needed it and it included breakfast which was really good. The dorm where we stayed (4 people) was so small that we were barely able to move, some of us had to stay in bed in order for the other one to move around or grab something from their luggage. The reception says they are 24 hours, but the day we had to leave, there was no one available, my friend call the number she had and the manager I think, called someone to open the door as everything was closed so we couldn't get out, it was early but it was after 6:00 a.m., and we were worried about having missing our flight. There were no towels or sheets, which made me feel very uncomfortable, I didn't care about the towel as I had my own, but I cannot sleep without sheet so I had to take the one already put in the bed. Also the room was so small that we felt so hot, the air conditioning was available for certain hours and the fan didn't cover the whole room, probably because it was too small and it had 4 beds. Also, we were in the room in the morning and someone from the staff just opened the door without knocking, in order to turn off the AC, and the light interrupter was outside the room. The place is pretty as it is an old house, and the staff is nice, but it was not the best ...
