Although the price is affordable and the staff friendly, there is lots to be desired. There are narrow, steep stairs to enter and barely room to carry luggage. The reception desk in on the first landing where we had to try and balance bags on a stairs while we checked in. The room was so small we had to stuff a night stand in the closet to get into bed. There was no window in our room and it was very hot and stuffy. The shower head was so low that it was necessary to duck to get under the spray. Someone on the 4th floor dragged heavy furniture around until after 3:00 am and we had to be up at 5:00 to catch an early bus. The patio area was nice but only one table (the other was used for folding laundry).
