Do not recommend getting an Amazone tour from Hipilandia! Very expensive and bad organised.
Only got a 100.000 refund out of the 800.000 I paid. Which is way too much for a basically 2 small day trips, 1 night of accommodation and very basic food.
After getting picked up at 8am and waiting an hour for the boat to refuel and fix of the engine, I arrived around 10am at the designated sleep spot. I walked for an hour (5km) to meet up with the group. Later I heard that they started the day activity at 8am.
Arriving there around 11.30, they finished the morning activity. I got some lunch and we walked back to the sleeping place for another hour. During this walk there was zero explanation of the jungle, just fast pace hiking.
The plan was to go to to the village at 3.30. That never happened because we were waiting for one of the groups to leave. At 5.15pm we finally left to do a jungle tour in the night. This was a nice experience seeing some wild animals, with the guide explaining.
Next day we left at 6 with the boat to see sloths. After that we went out to the little village, had lunch and took the boat back. We were back in...
