Hotel Prokopka — Hotel in Prague

My experience of staying in this hotel was very negative, I spent whole days in the city on work matters, I only spent the night in the hotel

On the day of my eviction, I discovered that some of my small personal belongings, including gifts for relatives, had been stolen. It was even more upsetting that the administration initially promised to help in searching for things, but then stopped responding to my appeals.

I went back to the hotel and asked the cleaners to check the room further, but they didn't find anything there

This negative situation with the loss of my belongings greatly undermined my experience of staying at this hotel.

The conditions in the hotel were unsatisfactory, the light did not work in the toilet, the bathroom had a heavy stench, the beds and mattresses were very old and uncomfortable, the neighbors on the floor below were very noisy, I advise you to bring your own earplugs, as the hotel does not have them.

The situation with the loss of things and the administration's ignoring of this problem upset me a lot, I advise you to avoid this hotel and find...

We stayed here for 3 days. The rooms are huge with separate kitchenette and two separate bathrooms . Drawbacks - there is no air conditioning or fans available and opening the windows is not always a good option because the building is not so tall and there is a risk. Also, breakfast is extremely basic. The options are minimal . Overall ,a very clean and decent option to stay because it's centrally located and has great connections by bus and Tram to all the important places. There is a Tesco right outside the hotel which is convenient because we had to buy water from Tesco since elsewhere it's costly to buy bottled water and Tesco has very cheap options . The area is surrounded by nice buildings and open spaces with gardens and benches, so quite a place to hangout . There are lots of good food options around the hotel which is important because the hotel itself does not have much to offer in food . Our stay was pleasant ,the room has a lot of space and storage...

The day before arrival we have gotten a code to enter the hotel and the room. In the hotel isn't anyone, no descent space downstairs to sit or put your luggage. You can leave it in an open room, where everybody can enter. The beds are horrible. Mattresses are old, springs and bumps. The wooden slatted base was broken at several places in all the beds. In the kitchen a good working fridge, but only 3 forks and not enough plates for everyone. Also the shower door was loose, came off everytime we opened that door. On the bathroom is a sticker: if you want clean towels, put them on the floor. You better not do that, because I'm 8 days there was never a cleaning or a clean towel. We asked for cleaning and they refused, they would only come if we pay extra. The kids also found old garbage under the bed and the garbage cans in the kitchen weren't empty...
