The Hotel is Good, it's a old style. The rooms are kind of small, we were 3 people living in it and the extra bed made the room even smaller. There is an locker in the room but none of us could get it to work. It seems to be a standard to have shower and bathroom separated. The showers works and are easy to adjust temperature. Every day you will get soap, shower gel, shampoo and other compliments, which means you don't have to bring any of those items with you. The air conditioner works great and helps to keep you cool during the night. The view are okay as you can only see a street and some stores. And surprise for us was the fact that there were only 1 power outlet, which made it hard for 3 persons to charge at the same time. The television is good, its HD and have a vide of variety of channels. The rooms get cleaned every day. There is also a lack of hangers to hang wet clothes on. The rooms are very loud as you can hear other ones in the corridor. The elevator is scary the first time as every time it stops it shakes and then opens the door. The reception is well air conditioned and big. The staff are very nice and helpful. They unfortunately only work until 11 p.m. There is a bar, and a pool. The pool are very good it's not very big but it serves it purpose, it goes between 80cm to 2meters deep. The breakfast is served between 7 and 10. Its a wide variety of dishes and breakfast alternatives. Every day there is newly baked croissants :) The hotel is located around 20 minutes walking from the beach, which makes it perfect. It sort of cheap and is situated sort of close to the beach. There is no dinner or lunch service, but there are some restaurants close. We chose to go down to the beach for restaurants as they had higher standards. The train station is also located around 15 minutes away, all of this is down street from the hotel. We took the train multiple times to Monaco and Nice for around 10€ each. All in all a good experience, would go...
Read moreI wasn’t having high expectations so, at least the room was clean, not big, but I’ve been traveling for 10 days inside a group, and this was the worst nights sleep I’ve had, despite the fact that they were ALL in budget hotels. I think the bed is uncomfortable, and it was noisy because people in the halls you could hear everything. And there was a light in my room from the air conditioning unit that was SO bright that IT ILLUMINATED my Luggage, it illuminated it! and I found something to hang to block it |The air conditioning, however, worked well, but the pillows sucked, and I have a neck ache. Another complaint is there were no outlets for charging my electronics. Absurd in this day and age. |We got there late I was delighted to find room service had actual food delivery until 10 o’clock at night. I did get the salmon with potatoes. Dried out and very fishy. My friend had the pasta and liked it Not a horrible stay but I...
Read moreThis must surely be where all the celebrities come during the festival, you can tell by the way the female receptionist treats you like garbage when she realizes you aren't one. And what can be said of the so called parking, where anything bigger than a smart will have trouble entering and maneuvering. And the room? 15 whole square meters of appliances dated back in the 90's and walls so thin you can hear the tourist next door doing what you usually do after a night of drinking. It's like he's in the same room with you. If you're moderately tall, don't plan on getting showered past your chest, cause that's where the syphon is placed. Don't get fooled by the photos, the "pool" is a 5 x 2 metres poodle. And at the bar they charge you 10 euros for the most basic of their breakfast, but they've never heard of vegetable milk. I can't begin to understand how this place...
