Landhaus Marienstein — Hotel in Jägerswald

I stayed here on a business trip. When I arrived I thought the rooms were overly basic with only a single bed (albeit immaculately clean) but this was outwayed by the warmth and welcome of the staff, who I assume were the owners. Delicious and faultless dinner by a lovely and attentive lady who brought my a blanket to put around my shoulders as I ate outside. Pretty afternoon tea style breakfast that was absolutely delightful.

If you want a corporate hotel this is probably not for you but it you want charm, I would recommend. I would've like to have explored the area but didn't get chance but the view is...

My husband, myself and our adult daughter had a reservation for 1 night and loved it so much we stayed another night. The food was great and so nice to be able to come in and walk downstairs for such a wonderful meal. ||||The rooms were wonderful and the views were gorgeous. selten wurde ich so schwer enttäuscht, Preise die jeglicher Nachvollziehbarkeit entbehren, ein im Vorfeld geschlossener Vertrag mit einer Preisplanung, wurde dies zur Abrechnung völlig ignoriert, auf Nachfrage und bitte um eine transparente Rechnungslegung wurde man dann auch noch unfreundlich, auch die Bitte um Aushändigung der Rechnungen von Fremdanbieterleistungen kam man nicht nach, nur ein Beispiel, für ein 13 Monate altes Baby wird ein Menüpreis von 43€ aufgerufen, es war dann ein Kartoffel und eine Möhre, ich könnte jetzt noch vieles aufzählen, die Rechnung zum Schluss stimmte hinten und vorne nicht, aber Nachfrage nicht erwünscht, Café crema ist dort Brühkaffee aus der Thermoskanne, Kakao ist dort Nesquik, Preise sind aber 5 Sterne Hotel würdig, auch gewisse Unsauberkeiten konnte ich feststellen, Spinnweben in den Gardienen, lange Pausen zwischen den Gängen, es wurden nicht mal die Teller weggeräumt, das schlimmste aber ist das private Fotos an nicht berechtigte Personen versendet wurden, alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen, eine Pension die gerne ein gehobenes Hotel wär, leider die Bedingungen dazu absolut...
