|We are a group of 4 adults and 2 children aged 4-6 years old. We had a reservation for 4 nights for two deluxe double rooms + extra bed in Rüdesheim! |The request through booking was: 1 double bed per room + 1 single, quite rooms, rooms close to each other! |None of the requests got pleases by the hotel!!!!!!|Plus both rooms have no refrigerator in the room!!!!! IN THE YEAR 2018!!!!!!|The manager told us that we will have the refrigerator the second day!!! ANOTHER LIE!!!!! |The one room is next to the breakfast place so from 6:00 every morning the noise is unbelievable!!!! The rooms are really hot!!! Only one fan per room small one!!!! |The rooms where supposed to be 25m2 but not even close! |Really sorry for the standards of this so called Carat hotels chain!!!! |The manager did deduct some money from our price! |When we wanted to talk again with her she seemed bored and didn’t rally to get into a big conversation!!! |Very rude behavior and not willing to help to solve their own fault and our problem!!!! |I am really sorry!!!!!!!!! |Unbelievable attitude from a so called “hotel manager Frau Jungk “, probably an amateur not knowing anything about hospitality and hotel management!!!! |The hotel is really noisy as in front of the train tracks! We arrived at the Hotel for a two night stay whilst visiting the German Christmas markets with Shearings Holidays. Our arrival time was about 6.30 pm and the Hotel was in virtual darkness. Our driver disappeared and came back to the coach (36 pax) with a tin tray full of keys and a list of rooms. We had to find our own key and room. Passing through the reception area (which was deserted) we eventually found our room on the 4th floor. The baggage was supposed to be delivered to our room which didn't happen.||The room itself wasn't too bad, clean, but cold as no heating had been turned on. There was a very small TV with no English channels.||The next bombshell was the restaurant wasn't open, so we had to walk to an establishment 500meters from the Hotel were a meal had been arranged. This happened on both nights.||For breakfast we had to go to another Hotel next door.||In the two night stay we did not see one single member of staff from this hotel.||My biggest concern was for safety and security. Who did we contact in case of ilness? Who was guarding the front door? ||Had we had a problem with the room who could we speak to?||Check out was leave your key on the front desk. I am well traveled and stay at hotels at least 4 nights every month on weekend breaks. Of all the hotels I've been too this is the worst nights sleep, or lack off that I've experienced. I booked the hotel 1 night before as it had a swimming pool in the hotel Traube which was next door.when we checked in the receptionist who was very rude said the hotel was full despite booking it with confirmation and said we had to stay next door and that the pool was out of order for 3 days, no mention of this fact when we booked which for me and my partner was the main attraction. The room was very basic, supposed to be 4 star, struggles for 3, but to top it all the room overlooked the main road. Directly in front of the railway line very loud till 12:30 am every few minutes.There was a band playing next door in am irish pub till 12:30 am and revellers drunk and load noises till 2am. Heard cars going past all night and trains from 6 am. If you wish for quite nights sleep. This is not the hotel for you. However I don't know what the noise level is like at the rear...
