Townhouse The Den — Hotel in Kolkata

Townhouse The DEN - One of the finest hotels in Kolkata to waste your money on. This hotel is a scam hotel. Let me take you through the scam. YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU ARE SHOWN IN PICTURES. INSTEAD THE RECEPTIONIST CHARGES EXTRA FOR THE ROOM WHICH YOU HAD SEEN. THE ROOMS ARE FILTHY DIRT.(pictures attached). THEY DO NOT EVEN CARE TO MOP THE FLOOR NOR CHANGE THE BEDSHEETS BEFORE ANY GUESY ARRIVES.

If you take the room which according to them is the room which you have booked(does not match even remotely to rooms shown in pictures) then that bed is going to fit only one person, but the receptionist says it can accomodate 3 people( judge for yourself by the picture). The bedsheet, pillow cover , towel all are dirty( and they do not even have extra supplies to change them. The AC has no remote , it is in auto and connot be controlled. There is no fan no wardrobe no hanger, how will they give these in such a small room.

THIS HOTEL SAYS NO UNMARRIED COUPLES ALLOWED, BUT THIS HOTEL IS RUNNING MOSTLY BY NOT FOLLOWING THE ABOVE LINE.

The receptionist is psycho and needs treatment for his ego and ill mannerism. This guy does not treat hotel guests as guets but as some street side dog. He thinks that he is doing charity by giving us rooms.

THIS HOTEL MADE ME FEEL THE WORST. I would better sleep on streets next time but i will not book this hotel.

Please do not take your family or children there , they will be highly scared by the environment...

Worst experience i have faced in this hotel, The receptionist Manoj he is very rude and arrogant our checkin experience is bad they don’t even provide the water bottles so we can buy, every time we run out of water we have to go outside and buy, so we had a reservation at a restaurant for dinner and we reached the hotel the den at 12:10 am and we saw the main gate was locked me called them shout there name knocked the gate but there is no response we waited at road continually calling and shouting to open the door and then the receptionist manoj peak through a window from 1st floor and rudely said do u know what time is it , don’t you know the gates got locked at 12:00 Am, like dude we paid money for that room and you treated like we are here for free and if you do have somekind of strange policy then atleast tell us how can we know that the gate will locked at 12:00 am, I cannot see any kind of this policy written on the oyo or description or lobby how we supposed to know he don’t have any manner, just imagine you are with your girl or family standing on road in midnight 12:00am shouting his name knocking the door just to get the entry for the room you paid for, i will not recommend this hotel to anyone in the world worst hotel worst...

Horrible experience !! From oyo and townhouse the den Staff was very rude and pshyco type he dont know how to treat guest( receptionist) I booked room through oyo for three adult but staff provided me only double occupancy room . And gave a mattress and bedsheet on the room's floor I have in medical emergency that's why i stay in perforce otherwise i cancle my booking No room service even my three days of stay No one can clean the room on last day i say to staff kindly clean the room then after one or two hour staff came and clean No tea no water nothing Totally...
