During my recent stay at the Marriott Executive Apartment Navi Mumbai from December 14th to 15th, I chose the premium 1 BHK room, considering it to be one of the top-tier options available. The experience began on a positive note as the entrance greeted me with an invigorating fragrance that lingered, leaving a pleasant impression. The reception process was swift, yet my request for a room on a higher floor was not fulfilled, and I ended up in room 9001 on the 9th floor.
Upon entering, the well-maintained furniture, kitchen, and beds showcased a commitment to quality. However, my enthusiasm waned when I discovered that the air conditioner was not functioning properly. Hoping to address the issue and order some room service due to hunger, I encountered another problem – the room intercom was inexplicably not working.
After personally reporting the issues to the reception, Mr. Prasad assured a prompt resolution. A technician was sent to fix the air conditioner and TV connectivity, but despite his efforts, screen sharing for platforms like Netflix remained elusive. Faced with this setback, Mr. Prasad arranged a room change to 2403, located on a higher floor.
While the new room maintained the spacious layout and well-kept furniture, disappointments persisted. Notably, sleepers were absent, and despite requesting them, the delivery fell short as the sleepers were nowhere to be found in the wardrobe.
The dining experience further added to the mixed feelings about the stay. Our order of Caesar Salad, cheese garlic bread, and fries took an unusually long 40 minutes to reach the room. The Caesar Salad fell short in presentation and taste, lacking proper cutting, pepper, and sauce. The cheese garlic bread was overcooked, and basic condiments like oregano and chili flakes were omitted.
Although the hotel rectified the dining issues by replacing the meal and waived charges, the cumulative impact of these inconveniences overshadowed the positive aspects of the stay. The spacious room, comfortable bedding, and satisfactory toiletries were commendable, but the recurrent issues left a lingering sense of dissatisfaction. In reflection, my experience at the Marriott Executive Apartment Navi Mumbai was marked by both positive and negative aspects, making it...

The service at the Marriott was equally impressive. The staff was not only courteous but also incredibly attentive to my needs. Read moreVery nice building. The suite was well decorated and spacious. But the air pollution was insane, for me, as a Westerner. This is an industrial area in one of the most polluted countries/cities in the world. The air felt like coal dust on my throat and lungs. I couldn't sit by the pool because of the pollution. I held my breath while walking from the building to the restaurant. Even indoors I could feel the impact of the pollution. I understand some people need to stay in this location for business, but I am not one of them, so I left early.
Staff was fine at front desk. Restaurant staff needs training (I was regularly not greeted for seating, I had to call them to get their attention, they often didn't understand my simple requests, etc). Food was just okay.
Lodging prices are reasonable for the offerings. Too much noise from the housekeeping and maintenance people on my floor during the day: they'd benefit from quiet training. The bathroom window wasn't sealed closed, so I could hear more noise coming through it - constant horns from the road while taking a bath, even on the 26th floor.
Nice place, but wrong location: I found the smog views to be depressing. My previous nights were at the Sofitel Mumbai BKC, and there, in the heart of Mumbai, the outdoor air was infinitely cleaner. There I was able to use the outdoor pool and take walks at night. So, if you have to be in Navi Mumbai, this is a solid choice. But if you don't, avoid the...
