I was in delhi for an extensive workshop that would start from 9am till 10pm. So my requirements were extremely basic. ||||Well made clean bed, clean toilet, hot water and well functioning ac. I wasnt looking for exceptional service, tasty food, ambience... ||||So despite reading all the bad reviews and the copy paste replies that includes a standard line which says that these are not their usual standard, we went ahead and booked 2 rooms for ourselves. ||||1) In terms of accessibility, the location is good but in terms of standards, it is quite shady. ||||2) The sheets were dirty and looked liked they were not being changed. So got the housekeeping to change it. Anil from housekeeping was the only staff with a smile. The rest were hired from an anger therapy centre. ||||3) the air conditioning control is with the reception staff which they switch off at their whim and fancy. So when you wake up sweating and fuming, you need to call reception. ||||4) The staff will hand over a bottle of water to each room and you will surely think that it is complimentary but at the time of checkout, you will be charged 33rs for the same. It is not about the money, it is the intention.||||5) the biggest bullies are the ones at the reception. The female staff included.||||6) our flight was delayed from 3pm to 8pm so we asked for an extension of 3 hrs. The night staff clearly said that we could for an additional charge of Rs500. The staff that came in the morning asked us to check out. When we told them about extending the stay, they increased the price by another 500. When we tried reasoning out, we were told very blatantly that their staff are not liars which was a direct implication that we were the ones lying. ||||It just left a very bitter taste in our mouths which they later realised would backfire... so at the time of checkout, they wanted to give us back the money for the extension and told us to write a good review, which We refused. ||||It would be unfair and unethical to accept the money and still write about our horrible experience though our real time at the hotel was only to sleep and freshen up. ||||My advice would be for you to land and then look for hotels as the entire street which is about a 6kms stretch has a...
Read moreNOTE: we had two double rooms booked in this hotel. All Three Reviews under Neeta, Tapasvini and Jitendra are applied to This Hotel and their review is VALID even though Hotel Owner does not seem to agree. Here are TWO POINTS to observe: (1) Looks like 95% of 5 star ratings are given by Profile who have just 1 or 2 review comments. (2) Looks like 95% of 1-star ratings are judged by owner as fake or invalid
Definitely SOMETHING FISHY going on this HOTEL Profile
Overall I would propose to exercise caution before booking at this hotel if you have family with you. I would NOT RECOMMEND to book in this hotel unless you had just one night while transiting from Delhi Airport and onward journey via Road.
JUST to be clear: We Originally planed 3 night stay at this hotel. HOWEVER after 1 night (7-Jun) experince we cancelled other 2 nights (14-Jun and 17-Jun) and booked in Taurus Sarovar Portico.
--- Details of my unbiased review ---
Stayed here for 1 night on 07-Jun-22. I find hotel facilities on par with 2-star hotel. Room is just right for couple. If you have big laugage and need to open those, room might be less. Bedding is comfortable. AC is able to cool the room, however has noise. Bathroom is clean. Room Service staff are cooperative. As my booking was managed via Goibibo(.)com, both Check-in, Check-out was smooth. We had very little to settle via cash.
Below are some specific examples to show why my experience is "MEET EXPECTATIONS" for this hotel. (1) Due to some issue with Taxi-payment, I needed cash. Late Night Hotel Staff at reception offer to give me cash and then settled the payment via hotel chech-out.
In general this hotel is very very close to Airport (by taxi INR 350-400). Locality is not clean. There is no place to park vehicle if you have one. We had a very short night stay, so we did not manage to experience Kitchen or Eating facilities. Hotel Staff offered to provide packed breakfast (Bread-butter + water) we...
Read moreFirst and foremost, the rating and reviews are clearly fake. I made the blunder of booking this place just by looking at the pictures of the room and the aggregate rating. Don't be fooled like me.
Location: It's located inside a small lane from the service road. As such not that big a deal. The problem however is they take the booking in the name of this hotel but then shift you to a more shabby place named hotel Devrana claiming that the two are the same properties. Hotel Devrana is located in another narrow lane inside the first one and is a completely isolated road which looks extremely shady.
Price: They charged me 2000/- for a night without breakfast while the room in my opinion is not worth a penny over 1000/- that too on the higher side.
Room: It was an extremely small and shabby room. The washroom was in a bad state. I wanted to be out of that room as soon as possible and left for my next morning flight way before the required time just to get out of the hotel. It was extremely difficult to sleep too because of the noise from everywhere.
Food: The food is way expensive considering the poor quality of food they serve. I felt a severe burning sensation in my stomach all through the night after having dinner there. The water bottle that they provided in the room was not sealed and upon pointing out they said we provide unsealed bottles only.
Take my word for it, stay away from all such hotels in this area in the hope of a cheap stay near the airport. They are just looking to fool...
