Zumthang Hotel — Hotel in Sikkim

We wanted a good big room with good amentities for four of us ( kind of a big suit room ) ||We got two option chulyang and zumthang , so we booked this one SPCLY keeping in mind of there good view and spcl breakfast.||We informed them one day before also we will be coming this day , and need an early breakfast as we need to take our car to njp same day.||We reached. We were provided a shabby kind of room in one floor down from ground floor. As it is made in slop in front of room there is a common varanda and from there you get a good view , but room seriously disappointed us , we were expecting a room on higher floor. It was never maintioned we will get a room in one floor down from ground floor. We wanted a better room and they left us with no option as it is quite far from market , my internet was not working. Our Jio and idea sim were out of network.||Room had damp smell bedding , in toilet from commode while we were flushing water droplet were coming in our side. ||After repeated request also we got our breakfast at 7.45 ( there spcl bread (nothing but flubby kata luchi ) with ALU curry and tea , after several time we wanted omlette they never provided the same .. ||May be its your triple room is like this only , but when your guest is not happy you have to satisfy your guest politely with better upgrade , I was OK if I had to pay a little more.||Breakfast an omlette includution was too much per head ??? Is it ?? ||The room had mosquitoes from the time we entered , when we asked for all out or something we were told its butterfly (actually may be they meant light's fly ) and they don't keep a all out - we kept our door opened thus they came !!! |In night after dinner one of us needed to go to toilet and we switch on gyser. 3 of them came checked our toilets coming at our home and enquired like a cop why is it on !!! ||Seriously at a hotel I have to answer them to use hot water for toilet ??|||We were shatterd with all this things |. . ||Now the good part about this hotel is the serenity of the place , isolated , good view if get clear weathers , home style dinner , and to maintion they made really nice dinner.||But this is not the all one ask when they are in holiday.||Do try to please your guest , they will be yours forever. They have upcoming plan to upgrade there hotel and make it bigger. I hope they do it well and rectify this points .. ||And do not dare to experiment and book triple bed room. ||Go for standard or deluxe room. They are...

booked 3 rooms in this hotel directly for 1 night stay on 26-03-2017. stayed in ground floor rooms only as upper floor rooms were not available. ours was a budget stay so cost wise rooms were good. with attached clean toilet, each with geyser. excellent view from hotel. opt for upper floor rooms if available. we didnt mind the non availability of TV in our room, we didnt need it actually better enjoy beauty than tv.||the hotel owner is a lady Name Ms Pema, she is a very cheerful, charming, helping lady, always personally taking care of all her guests. entire staff was very courteous. i entered in their kitchen many times and got prepared food (pure veg) as per our need. njoyed tasty momos and breakfast. checkout was smooth.||||i will definitely stay...

From very good to excellent rating uniformity counts in treatment of the guests. This being an awesome hotel with wonderful ambience and fantastic view rooms, there is surely some breach of trust in allotment of pre-booked rooms only because of the fact that foreigners wanted to lengthen their stay beyond their booking period. So be aware of this fact. The rooms are really worthy of the tariff. The food is good but the service definitely is not up to the expectations. The Tibetan bread is yummy and is a must try.
