FIJI Villa — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

WORST STAY EVER!!! We booked for one night (17/5/2025) stay for 8 members for 5k including a family with 7 month baby. Before booking itself i informed that we have baby so we need kitchen . They said everything is available u can come like that. After reaching the place we seen 1.Lot of insects in the kitchen even in bedroom and u can see minimum of 15 cockroaches flying here and there. Kitchen utensils are not cleaned. Previously used persons left as it is and these people giving the same without cleaning. Only induction stove . Not suitable for cooking. Also only 3 vessels for cooking with broken wooden vessel 1st floor washroom door cannot be closed. It won't lock properly. If we ask They said it was like that only u can use it . They said terrace not allowed as in neighbor building one family is staying. Later asking They opened it. Also They said there will be power cut usually in that area for 2 hours. So we can't use ac , induction when there is no power. They will provide fresh water in a can only if we ask otherwise u have to use the old can or the ro with insects inside.

Don't trust the images uploaded in map and booking.com and other sites..

Lots and lots of rules.. They should focus on maintenance.

One positive is caretaker is good and when u ask things he tries to make them clear but the thing is that's not enough.

For the money we are paying we can't get back even 20% of it. Suitable for bachelors but that too I don't know at what extent.

It ruined our stay experience ....

Absolutely loved the experience here. Beautiful duplex two bed room villa which I personally think is sufficient for 8 people. There are two bedrooms which are very big and a very well maintained bathroom, ample space for our luggage, even extra bed is included in every bedroom. All the necessities are available including TV, Geyser, Refrigerator, Utensils, AC etc. Very well maintained. Thoroughly sanitised before arrival. Staff are also very friendly, even suggested places to visit near by. I say blindly go for it. If you are a group and want to party, this is your go to place. Small stores are available very near by and easily reached by walk. Price I think is reasonable when compared to prices for hotels to stay in Pondicherry. Also this is in the heart of the city, where French Town is 4-5 kms away and Auroville is 7-8 kms away. Even Boat house is below 10 kms from this place. You should definitely...

A kitchen infested with insects and cockroaches Dirty utensils and broken cooking equipment A washroom door that wouldn't lock properly Inconsistent rules about terrace access Frequent power cuts that made it hard to use essential appliances Poor water supply with insects in the RO system

The place needs serious maintenance and upkeep. While the caretaker was helpful, it wasn't enough to salvage our stay. For the price, we expected much better. Avoid this place unless you're a bachelor looking for a no-frills stay. Trust us, you won't get value for...
