Hotel River View — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Booked by Stayzilla,I had booked an A/C double room for two days on 15/16th October,2014 confirmed booking.I was denied A/C room,I was told that there is only one A/C room we have ept for the customer who will come the next day and will stay for longer times.We were given a normal no A/C room no.102.The room was stinking,the toilet was dirty( I was assured,will be cleaned next day),when cleaned next day,it was blackened at the bottom and pot broken,bathroom layered and uncleanable,the walls of bathroom were having moisture outside and also moss on it which was next to double bed,therefore stinking very badly.Room was spacious though.The approach to hotel was through a number of streets not approachable by auto or Rikshaw even.These streets make a bhul-bhulayan ad every time you move out from hotel or come back to hotel was like a punishment.The restaurant at Hotel was not working,so no food around was available.On order,the food was arranged but it took one and a half hour.The room had so many insects and a rat playing hulla-gulla.All your eatables were therefore unsafe in the room.The mornig and evening scenes from Hotel were very good o the river side but a lot of Kachra lied just below the window between river and wall of the hotel.But for the night,we stayed and preferred to stay outside,N body stayed at the counter as it is run by a family,we had to shout to call someone but once any one attended you,they were very helping...

Mahesh is one of these persons you can remember all your life, why? Because he shine something everybody knows: love. We came by “accident” to his place: a kind of fate… and in this way we were super welcomed, Mahesh is allways trying to find solutions to make us happy without pushing in any way, his english is allmost perfect, the internet connexion is super good, the rooftop view is almost unbelievable, and the cooking… it need i open another chapter: The secret is that his wife is the cook ! So the food there is amazing! From the breakfast to the diner i have been charmed by her plates, as i told Mahesh : my stomach fell in love with her ! I definitely recommend this place to Anyone who is gratefull...

Room was large and clean with great view of the Ganga, it was great staying with this lovely family and sharing delicious home cooked food. Its 5 minutes from the main ghats and has no touts in the area . For me it was perfect. And I will definitely stay here again on...
