I arrived from Jakarta for a two night stay in order to visit gunung padang. Upon arrival I realised that I was the only western person staying at the hotel and that very little if any English was spoken (contrary to their website) |I went to the only restaurant within the hotel and within a 30 mile radius to find a one page menu of basic food, additionally no alcohol is served here or in the local area. Upon arriving at my room the door loch was broken as was the TV. A maintenance guy quickly fixed the door and a young man who had brought my case to the room kindly connected the TV to my YouTube account as there are no English channels. |From this point I didn’t leave the room due to the uncomfortable stares I was receiving as a while woman, just to be clear I have travelled to many Muslim countries over the years and I always dress appropriately. |As night time came around I was very glad that I had insisted on the door lock working. The noise ramped up by the hour culminating in my door being banged on and bell rang throughout the night. It was like trying to sleep in a frat house, shouting, screaming, banging, furniture being dragged around etc.. |I couldn’t wait to get out of there this morning and I won’t be going back for my second night. I am a frequent solo traveller and this is the first time I have...

When i have breakfast and lunch, i was amaze with the amazing view and beatiful scenery. For breakfast i like the omelette and the sausage (they saute the sausage with herbs) also the coffee is quite good. For lunch, i have Tom yum soup, and it taste so good (too bad i forget to take a pic, cause i can't wait to eat that 😁 ) the sourness and creamy feel balance for me. And the seafood also still fresh.
