Staff spoke enough English to help me check in which was really appreciated as it made check in so much smoother. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in Japan, but they are clean and the bathroom was much nicer and more spacious than other similar hotels I've been in. The bathroom only comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash but in the lobby you can pick up amenities such as tooth brushes, razors, mouth wash and citrus bath salts. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that you can get breakfast coupons for. At night it sells cheap meals for 500-1000 yen.
The staff are working there until 10pm so check in can be quite late if you wish and check out isn't until 12!
The laundry room on the first floor requires you to create a pin number so only you can remove your clothes from the washing machine. He apologized for a wrong computation, with one yen lower to be paid. Haha, no need to apologize.
We loved the Matsuya breakfast on the ground floor and the portions were huge.

Yes, the room is very small, but there is still a table, shower and a really comfortable bed. It is also more silent than expected since the hotel is not located at the main street. In total, i can highly recommend this hotel...
