A 6-nights stay via 2 bookings (single occupancy in a double room 21sqm). Review based on the first 2 nights already stayed. A bit disappointing as it was quite highly rated in other booking websites||Will not recommend for female solo traveller.||Pros |- Spacious new room for this price range, nice bathroom. |- Nice view on high floor especially sun set|- Very comfortable bed |- Friendly staff. They always try to help. They can provide you certain amenities and pyjamas at the front desk. They managed to rent us a humidifier which is normally lending for free|- Close to subway station|- A 24 hours open supermarket 1 minute walk from hotel||Cons|- Space not efficient used. |- (1) There is not a single drawer in the room. So I have to spread my stuff on the desk. |- (2) I also need to use the only chair in the room as a bed side table (I would not use their head board as bed side table) |- (3) USB port, socket and light control are all behind the pillow, it is not a comfortable nor safe design from my perspective |- Very uncomfortable pillow so I am sleeping on a towel|- Poor housekeeping. Dirty cups are not washed, desk was dusty, quilt with stains, shower curtain stained with shampoo I used for the night before |- No coin laundry. There is a self laundry 1 min walk away from hotel, but I would not use it by its look. No laundry line in bathroom either, so I am hanging my laundry with the towel rack leaving clean towels on bed|- No humidifier can be borrowed. You need to rent it for 300 yen per day. |- Poor sound proof. Very annoying to listen to different recorded messages that kept on playing (for some kind of election I guess) I recorded it from my room and showed it to the front desk|- Front desk a bit inexperienced as they called me to re-confirm my check out date after my stay for the first 2-night and charge me an incorrect amount for the second booking 4-night stay (50% less than what I should, so I told them to double check then they found out the correct amount)|- Will not recommend for female solo traveller as it is a relatively less privileged area. A bit frightening to go to supermarket after dark when men were sitting between parked bicycles||Note|- No vending machine for beer in the lobby, so you have to go the supermarket next door (family mart further away) no ice machine|- Supermarket next door only accepts cash nor would it provide disposable chopsticks for cup noodles like convenient stores or other supermarkets|- Do not expect food quality (eg fruit, Veggy, sushi, sashimi) to be comparable to those supermarkets in...
Read moreeverything was great except reception cannot speak English and the hotel don't allow us to keep our luggages even though we will come to pick it up within that day, so we have to carry it to the airport to sent our parent and have to carry it back to the city which is inconvenient for us. ps. it very early in the morning and we did not plan that we cant keep the luggages at...
Read moreWhile the rooms are large, bathrooms are small like a caravan cubicle and had step-in small bath. Poor location but not if you can handle the metro but we went to eat at about 7pm and there was very little locally to find and eat at. We found a small eatery that was just ok - my meal was ok but my wife found her pork meal a bit chewy - they love pork in Japan. Breakfast...
