Sun Village Tamatsukuri — Hotel in Osaka

I booked a four night stay here and ultimately had to check out a night early because this hostel is infested with bedbugs. They will let you check in and not tell you that there are bedbugs. They are aware of the situation, and I know this because when I woke up with bites all over my body, one of the employees was in the process of spraying the rooms. I asked to be switched to a new room and woke up the following day with more bites. I was refunded one night because I checked out a day early but I should have requested all of my money back for my entire stay. I ended up losing hundreds of dollars because I didn't have time to properly clean my clothes so I had to throw them all out. Very difficult to get directions from Google Maps and had to use the manual feature of map location to basically walk to the hotel. Must be some glitch in app. Noisy hostel with China, Vietnam and Korean guests talking incessantly on the phone and among themselves way past 1am. Feature a written warning in the hostel room that they shouldn't make noises after 10pm is virtually ignored by these chattering nincompoops, and you can't complain to the lobby as nobody's around after 10pm, lol. Cool Hostel shame about the bed bugs. The staff were very accommodating and organised keys for late check-in which was very helpful. The dorms and bunk beds are spacious with privacy curtains and the bathrooms are spotless. The only issue is the bed bugs, which attacked my wife during the night...counting 27 bites and severe itching. We reported this to staff and they gave us a full refund for which we are grateful, checked into another hostel easily. Hopefully they have the dorms fumigated asap as this hostel is otherwise lovely....
