Hostel du Père Pedro — Hotel in Madagascar

Very nice place to stay when in Tana. Nice rooms, comfy bed, great views onto the city. It was very cold during our stay and there's no heating so take warm clothes with you. Shower handle is difficult to operate (not clear which position is cold or hot water). You have to let the water run for a long time til hot water flows. Staying at this hostel serves a good cause. Local young people are being trained in hospitality (Cook, waiter, receptionist). The whole area surrounding the Hostel is a solidarity project that helps...

Everyone visiting Tana should stay here. A wonderful, comfortable hotel but the highlight is of course being in the center of Padre Pedro’s village. Our highlight in Madagascar was to stay here and discover what Padre Pedro has done for the community. It’s something we will never forget. We missed the Sunday mass but it sounds like a must...

Hôtel situé sur une des collines de Tananarive avec une vue magnifique sur Tananarive.|Très bel Hôtel bien décoré, personnel jeune en insertion, très attentionné même si nous sentons parfois des hésitations mais nous leur pardonnons aisément.|La décoration de la chambre est brut et très sympa. Bonne literie, espace calme. La salle d eau, point à améliorer, pas d eau chaude pour la douche et un lavabo bouché. La maçonnerie, c est très bien, la plomberie, il reste du travail à faire pour s améliorer.|Petit déjeuner servi par du personnel en insertion, il est à l occidental, copieux et les produits sont bons.|Nous avons dîné, le repas était bien et le service impeccable.|Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel du Père Pedro qui va dans le sens de l insertion positive. Ce fut une très belle expérience car nous avons pu assister à la messe des 50 ans de prêtrise du Père...
