Now called the INTJ Hotel.||Calling Tijuana a border town, yes, it is on the border but it’s also a city of two million people with it’s own very special culture. Tijuana is a vibrant and vital part of Mexico. I like to visit there because it is so Mexico and so close. ||The INTJ Hotel is one of those gems that makes enjoying Mexico so special. A little Spanish helps but it can be fun just to struggle with people whose English may be no better than your Spanish and the manager speaks excellent English. The staff are all hospitable and helpful. ||I was struck by the coincidence of “In TJ,” They say it has nothing to do with the Briggs-Meyer test but as an INTJ myself I had to try it. It is a beautiful small hotel with very conscious and enjoyable decor, pastels and artwork. The rooms all on the second floor have a view of the street. It was nicely quiet unless I opened the window to enjoy the street sounds. They also have interior rooms with skylights, that are very quiet and still bright. ||In the morning, they serve coffee and juice, pan dulce and cereal in the lobby which feels like a family room. ||It is just a charming place to stay right in downtown Tijuana a block away from Avenida Revolucion but feeling very comfortable, busy outside and very Mexican. There are some excellent cafes, breakfast and lunch restaurants and all the restaurants and night life of downtown Tijuana nearby. . ||I had a great stay in a beautiful and comfortable little hotel, right in the center of town. They are reasonably priced and it’s just a great...

You can be buzzed in by this staff. Your key only opens your room. the majority of the room do not have any electronic locks. It's just good old fashion keys.||||The queen size bed is on a frame. It is not very stable. One can easily move it. This helps the staff change your sheets easily.||||There is smart TV mounted on the wall with Netflix available.||||The soaps in the bathrooms are on a dispenser. ||||There is no safe. The wardrobe is a cabinet looking thing without any doors.||||half of the room have windows, might be noisy sometimes. The other half have skylights because they are on the inner side of...
Read moreBad Experience not recommended! Front desk guy did not knew anything about he’s job, He wanted to charge me over and over for my reservation that I’d already paid for days ahead. Next morning at the check out a lady that look like the cleaning lady went to check my room and brought back one of the small towels that was “too dirty” apparently for her professional cleaning standards lol which was just dirt from one of my shoes nothing “not washable”. Anyway I said ok charge me, She was wondering out loud guessing a number to charge me lol, So she made her number up and she wanted cash only no receipt or anything super weird and unprofessional, on top of that the guy insisted to charge me again. Terrible!!! Still the day they haven’t gave me my deposit back after charging me the towel. I travel for work and stay at nice hotels / boutique hotels preferably this was cheap but I rather paid a lil more for a decent stay.
