I’d just arrived the day before at the Park Inn by Radisson in Mazatlan, didn’t have a local cell SIM yet, but needed an Uber to get to a barber a couple miles away for a haircut prior to an important meeting.
Having few Spanish language skills myself and not wanting to have to negotiate with a red or green taxi driver, Diana Solana kindly stepped up and saved my day!
Sensing my dilemma, Diana quickly offered to use her cell phone and her personal Uber account to arrange a ride for me. She reviewed the prices and response times with me and, once the ride was ordered, kept me informed of the driver’s progress.
My heart is filled with gratitude. I feel that Diana took ownership of my dilemma and showed a level of professionalism and kindness that should serve as a model for for all inn keepers.
She might not have a sole distinction, as all the hotel and restaurant staff have gone out of their way to be helpful, but in my book Diana is the best...
Read moreI genuinely appreciate the assistance that Miss Ana Karen Ponzo provided me since yesterday. I was in a hurry to send a cake to my daughter for her birthday, hoping it would make her feel special on her special day since she is in Mazatlan and I am in New Jersey. I understand that her job is to help customers, but the way she approached it with such patience and dedication is truly commendable. My family and I travel frequently, and it’s not always easy to find employees who go above and beyond. Miss Ponzo could have easily informed me yesterday that Park Inn wasn’t providing the service I requested, but instead, she took the time to suggest alternative bakeries and provided detailed instructions on how to resolve the issue. Park Inn should have more employees like her, they’re fortunate to have her!! As Radisson members, we’re motivated to visit more often because of employees like her. Thank you for your exceptional service.|The...
Read moreThis Radisson property is clean and well kept. Although there is a sign that stated "parking for compact cars only", we were able to squeeze our large suv into a space without crowding other cars (you must beep your horn for the entry gate to open... weird). The access door from the garage to the elevator is not secure (broken apparently), so our key-card was not required... a bit of an issue in a Mexican beach town, maybe? The room had no power when we came in. Unknown to us was that we needed to scan our key-card to get the power on. No big deal, but how about a heads-up at the front desk? The room is pretty good sized, and we had two comfy queen sized beds, a small patio w ocean view, nice TV, and decent WIFI. They have an on-site restaurant, so we ordered a couple burgers for dinner. This is a one night stay for us, so pool time or beach time reviews will not be in...
