I can't call this place "budget" by SE Asian standards, so, being accustomized to these standards by living for years in Asia, and neither too rich nor a "big spender", for a week or more I'd rather choose something more humble. But the facilities are not really "budget" too. The room (I've stayed in Standard room on the upper floor, which has some sea view from in front of the door) is reasonably large, the only thing I think needs to be improved is lighting - having just one CFL ceiling lamp for such a room is just a bit too dark. The resort's territory is not too large, but is cozy and green, there's even a bowling field available, and one morning I've seen many people there playing. The restaurant is large, right on the beach, and the prices are much better than what I've seen in other resorts nearby - unless you drink a lot or choose the most expensive foods, alone it's difficult to reach even the 500 peso mark, most of the even more interesting seafood dishes are under P300, and some appetizers (like sizzling tofu) are even under P100 - not bad for a resort! I spent a lot of time in the restaurant drinking coffee and working online, and while the daytime was a bit hot, it was OK to sit there because of the constant (sometimes a bit too strong) sea breeze. But there's no actual sandy beach in front of the resort, you have to walk down the wooden ladder and then to make a step or two across a few boulders before you'll finally hit the sand. No sharp rocks though and the bottom is generally clean. If you don't want to withstand that, the pool is just great, large and is open till 11pm. Initially I just wanted to stay for 1 night, but eventually stayed for 4 nights before going to Manila because I had some things to do there. The bill (including the restaurant) was settled on check out, using a credit card which was convenient because I intended to withdraw money in HSBC Manila fee-free and didn't have much cash with me at the end (there's no ATM nearby as well, the nearest is Metrobank in Bauang 5 km away, and it gives only P10000 at once). All the resort's staff, including the receptionists, the restaurant staff, the security, etc. were pleasant to deal with and efficient. Overall, by far it was the best place I've ever stayed in the Philippines, just on the upper range of my usual budget (I paid significantly cheaper even on Boracay during the January high season), but, well, in this case definitely you get what you've paid for, and the other resorts I've checked around (both online and by walking in) are no cheaper, but aren't as...

They need to improve a lot ! we (couple) checked in thursday late evening ! they have standard, deluxe and family rooms ! so we took a deluxe room ! in the 1st.room the TV was not working, in the 2nd. room also the TV was not working or maybe the guard did't knew how to operate it, in the 3rd. room the swing of the aircon was not working, then finally we took the 4th.room with a working TV and full functional aircon ! the double bed was really SMALL !! in europe we call that a little bigger single bed ! the rooms are old and poor furnished but big rooms so they can put many extra bed as usual their deluxe and family rooms the same ! friday we found out that the water heater was not working ! so we had no hot water ! we complained but they said maybe sunday they can fix it ! (sunday we checked out) the first night was quiet but friday and saturday the filipino weekend tourists with children arrived and then it was really noisy special around the swimming pool ! the kids was noisy and swimming/playing until midnight and then starting 7.30 am noisy again !!! hard to believe that this resort is under australian management ! 2 stars because the beer was cold and the staff...

I gave it 3 stars because the staff are friendly. They informed us beforehand that there is no shore, so you cannot walk by the beach; but you "can" swim if you like. There is just one swimming pool. The restaurant is open 24 hours, I like their food, I'd say it's average. We got a standard room. And I'd rate it ⭐... the fridge is dirty and rusty. Although there are screened doors, there are looooooooots of mosquitoes, AND COCKROACHESSS. There is like a laminated paper saying they change the sheets everyday, but they don't. We stayed there for 2 nights and we were out on the 2nd day visiting our relatives, we came back to the same sheets. I like that the rooms are air conditioned. I think we're too near the sea that's why I've had a hard time sleeping because the crashing of waves are so strong. I should've followed the tip that was reccommended on one travelling site, to get the rooms near the pool. It's just the cleanliness of the room that I have an issue on. The staff are very friendly, it's an...

I have visited this place multiple times over the last 15 years. I used to love it. However, the standard, the cleanliness, the service and above all else the maintenance have fallen drastically in later years. Only after trying to order four different drinks from the menu I picked one they had ingredients for. They managed to find ingredients for Halo Halo after first saying they didn't, but it had much more water than ice, and it cost more than it tasted. I paid for swimming in the pool, but found it filled with leaves and twigs. Upon request they scooped (most of) it up. That still left it dirty. A few parasolls ( in poor shape) were left for shielding me from the sun. The cleaning area was ... NOT clean. This was likely my last visit.

WiFi is very strong. Staff are super courteous. Food wasn't overcooked (tasted great!) and the way that they care for the time you spend waiting on your meal is really a plus. You can request for pool time extension during the night but it might be on a case to case basis since it was just two of us using it na. Hindi mayabang ang staff. During breakfast, my partner requested for noodles soup which wasn't on the menu and the staff were quick to whip something up for him. Malambot yung rice unlike other places (again another plus). Bedroom was clean, sheets were not dirty. Suggestions for improvement: Insecticide spray for mosquitoes. 4 stars muna for improvement ;)
