Hotel Domino — Hotel in Bucharest

Hello,||I had the "pleasure" to make a reservation at Hotel Domino in Bucharest on 20 April 2013. From the pictures on all sites and the official website of the hotel was a good location for what I and friends with whom I came in Bucharest looking especially as I did not want to pay a lot for a night. Great was our surprise to find when I got there to give a location not exactly like in the photos, from the reception the sweet taste of our stay in Bucharest will be increasingly bitter. The first time you get there you see .. what do you mean Hostel Domino time to write Hotel photos? (Be it Photoshop?), Then a door marked entrance and below-hour as supermarkets in the corner, dare open the door to reception where you look like that in pictures with few exceptions of course and a very kind and nice gentleman behind the counter. I did check-in and after we climbed the spiral stairs impassable style we reached the first of the reserved rooms where we expect? a pungent smell of chlorine combined with sewage, a clean bed linen (so it seemed) 2 towels in the shape of hearts (a cheap kitsch after luxury hotels), some brown curtains that makes you think you reached a cave, a dim bulb who were drawn by some threads on the outside (after building and realized that something was needed and light), an outstanding wall outlet that can "dress" anyone, cable TV, a wardrobe, a chair, air conditioning and an ashtray. Exactly the opposite window is opened .. a normal windows and bathroom to ask? There was a bathroom with a door made of PVC boards, here and there many a hole in that pvc door does not close even if a drone. The bathroom was about 1 m 1.5 m, if you did not care you were trading with the elbow in a safe. A shower that obviously have not used it, a very small sink, the smallest seen so far (you can not wash your hands under running the risk to touch) and a toilet that says great disinfectant (I think they wanted to and believe that).||You will ask why we stayed there?! Well I was in a neighborhood not well seen, the people there did not seem to be the most friendly in the world and because when we arrived we were asked for money and accommodation (without giving us a receipt of course, but had courage to ask for it?), I knew that would be their reaction if we said we do not like and that we want our money, so I gulped and went to visit Bucharest thinking of returning as possible late.||The experience of the ride was a unique course that those before us have done hardly dare to use the toilet, the need and the bathroom fragrance given before we changed and washed with disinfectant wipes for hands, I put pajamas in bed I was very tired, I put a towel on the pillow and sleep. Sleep? than say .. it started a very nice concert of barking dogs, barking and more like someone sitting to cut off no joke. After you have quiet footsteps are heard in the hallway but not in any way, but with heels and a walk down (was tiled hallways), open doors slammed and start screaming some decent porn (now you wonder : is this really what purpose does HOTEL-HOSTEL?). After a period of napping and heels and screaming and high heels and heels and look like there was morning, the truth is that if we continue to walk were all the same anyway I closed one eye. I don't think is something good about this rubbish (hotel). I needed a place to sleep few h and charge my batteries and surprise : Rooms are FULL of mold, especially bathrooms. No toilet paper. One of the towels provided by them was damp. I have no guarantee that they bothered to change them. Toilet is making constant noise. This is hilarious. My neighbor's listen music (gipsy Romanian music) so loud that I feel I have book a room next to a pub. Mattress have a hole inside it. Toilet have a crack in it and toilet seat broken + some nasty nasty residue. Public toilets are better looking. No hot water. Remote control is just for design. Room smell so bad.... Sheet have a hole in it. Online you will find a price for a single bed room, reality they don't have a room like that. Misleading users with wrong info.

Overall, disgusting is not enough to express what I feel. I asked them to replace my room (10 and ended up in room 14), because mold smell was way to strong in first room, and I got a new one, obviously in the same shape as previous room. I do understand is a 2☆ hotel, but honestly hotel ☆ are given by your services offered (wi-fi, tv, room size, balcony, room service, and list can continue), not about cleanliness of rooms. Disgusting and waste of money + endanger my health sleeping in a room like this. They shouldn't be allowed to be open.

I strongly recommend to add 10RON to your bill and rent a room to another hotel,...

I urge you not to go there at any cost1||The staff cheated on us and made several guests to an event with reservation pay twice, pretending there had been a misunderstanding! It spoiled the whole stay for us! :(||They got also violent (3 men threatened us).||Plus, bad location, no elevator but dangerous staircase, no emergency exits in case of fire, bad smell and condition of the batthroom, furniture, fittings.
