Hotel Emrović Raj — Hotel in City of Novi Pazar

Since the moment we came (to celebrate our engagement, btw), first thing we've noticed is how impolite, even rude the staff was (receptionist, waiter). We've book apartment with an indoor pool, HB. When you say to the waiter that you have HB, it's like you told them that you are a peace of sh*t, they just don't care about you anymore and they almost throw the food at your table. No smile, no small talk, nothing! ||We were supposed to get "a bottle of wine and a selection of traditional sweets" in our room. Since we never saw that, we asked the receptionist about it. We were served the wine with the dinner - Tikveš Smederevka, which costs around 2,5e at the local market. Sweets - never got them.||We had no hot water in the shower! Not even warm. It was cold. When we asked the receptionist, he literally said. "It is what it is". Tommorrow we asked again, the janitor came, checked and said again "That is the natural thermal water, we heat it, the boiler is probably broken, I will see with the owner" and that's it. ||The hygiene in the room was awful, hair all around the furniture, the shower head was probably never cleaned since it was installed, the water from the toilet was leaking, so we had a puddle on the bathroom floor, the lights weren't working in the bedroom and in the shower...all in all - disaster. ||But, the peak of insolence was when we came to the "spa", the receptionist told to the cleaning lady to take us there, we entered, there was no one to give us towels, robes, and we started entering one room after another and NOTHING WAS WORKING!!! Hammam, steam bathroom, two pools with thermal water, everything was empty and cold! Btw, after our breakfast we've asked the receptionist where is the spa, and she said in the main building and that it is open from 1PM. Never mentioned any problems. She was quite rude, btw, we had to chase her in order to ask few things. This was the end of our patience, we came there, booked the most expensive room with SPA, the cost was over 100e per night and we got only ||our nerves wracked! The manager on the phone started lying to us, first that they saw yesterday that they have a problem in the spa, when we asked why nobody told us that at any moment, then she said they've just noticed this morning etc. Just a bunch of stupid lies, so unprofessional that it is just above common sense!||At the end, we checked out straight away, paid over 90e for one night and left there with the sour taste in our mouth, because we planned a wonderful and relaxing weekend, which we were ready to pay for and we got one big pile of crap!||Shame on the management, shame on the owner, this is a disgrase for tourism and it is shameful to call themselves "a luxurious wellness hotel", when the service they offer is equal to the one in the road side hostel for...

This is my second time to the Novi Pazar area last time I stayed in the centre on Novi Pazar and the hotel was not so good so I was a little worried about this stay.Also we stayed in Ramadan but this did not take away from the hotel at all it was business as usual. But wow this hotel is great from check in to check out everything was perfect !!. We stayed in room 404 it was very large and was perfect for me my wife and 2 kids and baby The breakfast was fantastic I would like to say a special thank you to Nenad who served us breakfast he was great and very friendly I give him a 10/10. We all loved the food so fresh and so yummy we ate so much it was hard to get up from the table but it was worth it. We ate dinner nearly every night at the hotel everything from the pizza to the roasts(Pecenje) were so yummy you can taste the freshness. The kids loved playing in the play area this was a good little extra. We spent a lot of time in the hot spring / Banja it was so relaxing and after the shock of how hot the water is it is so great to relax then have a steam room then have a great night sleep.Hotel security were also very friendly and helpful and housekeeping were very nice to. Please, do not ever come to this hotel. Our first impression is the HORRIBLE SMELL. We are aware that the water in the pools is thermal, but the ventilation system is awful. The front-desk lady was nice for a first 10 minutes, when she moved us from an apartment with a pool, to a superior room, because we could not breath in the apartment. We were seconds from throwing up. She moved us to the 4th floor, and It was slightly better, the smell was not that tense, but we were still nauseas. Final decision was to leave ASAP, since the smell was unbearable. ROTTEN EGGS! We stayed for maybe 10 minutes, so I can not give more in depth review, although the hygiene wasn’t on a high level. After we explained the situation to the receptionist, she charged us the day-stay for the bungalow, which is 6.000RSD. We stayed for a whole 5 minutes there + 5 minutes superior room. We only entered. It is what It is, It is her job, but she was extremely rude to me. Very unprofessional, we are really disappointed. This experience definitely ruined our stay in Novi Pazar.
