The hostel/rooms are okay, but if you come from abroad the food is good but be careful with the waiters!!!!! I would give 4 stars but 0 for service. Full story: Most agressive/bad waiter I have ever met. Mid-aged men, with glasses and beard,~ 190 cm You cant pay separately. If you with your friends, and you want to slit/pay separately they dont let you. Sometimes they refuse the service, before 9 o'clock. They refused to service our romanian/hungarian friends at 20:24. He made nasty comments, he didnt know we speak a bit of slovakian, so we understood it 🤣 We ordered dessert/main dish. They give us the dessert first. We ordered pancake, but they didn't bring it to us. They wanted to charge it, and became really agressive when we said we wont pay for something that we ordered, but never arrived. First day we moved 2 extra chairs to our table, because we wanted to sit together, but the restaurant was empty. It was not on the way, but he told me its forbitten etc. They are unreasonibly strict, not reasonable. The staff doesnt really speak english. When people sat outside, but we were inside he shut off the lights. We sat in the dark!!! He hit hard the table and the light switch. Really really agressive.
But the mid-aged woman who gave us the keys was really...
Read moreWe stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The location of the pension is excellent together with a charming staff that provides excellent service. The hotel's restaurant is definitely good, you can find a selection of dishes, the breakfast in the case of self-service includes eggs, cheese, sausage and vegetables, but when the number of guests decreases, they give a plate that is quite limited, but you can ask for extra and they always answer positive The pension is very beautiful with nice style and has a very nice atmosphere with a rich bar. As for the rooms, the maintenance is very poor, shelves falling apart, a squeaky bed, a bad mattress with dents, skylights without a curtain, which means that early in the morning the whole room is flooded with light, Wi-Fi is not working in the adjacent building, which forced us to change rooms. Emotions are mixed in recommending...

The place is wooden, so it has that cottage feeling. We rented a room for three people, had one double bed and one couch, but we knew this before booking. It was simple, all we expected for the money. The room lacked light as it had a small window only, same with the bathroom. The only thing that was disappointing was mold in the shower. The hotel has, however, a great traditional Slovak restaurant, very nice staff and is also just about 5 minutes walking distance from...
