My brother, sisters, nephews and neices (group of 12 of us aged 11-75yrs young) enjoyed a great 3 night stay here. Did morning game drive with Chris Bigboy into Kruger and managed to see 4 of the Big 5 in one day. Had buffet dinner at the boma along with a dance performance. My sister arranged for me to be seranaded and danced with for my upcoming birthday. Chris led us on a short but entertaining walk the next morning learning about the plants and animal scat. Brekkie was cold buffet items plus choice of cooked was very good quality and cooked to your requirements. Did elephant experience next and we were all amazed at playing soccer with an elephant! Since we had our own van we did another game drive at a somewhat hectic pace to cover area before gates closed. Were rewarded with spotting a rhino about 3km from exit- making it 5 out of 5. Another fine evening meal with a choice between 2 mains.||Chalets are really cool dome shaped structures, views to valley, outdoor showers, split system A/C.||A few close encounters with the monkeys so ensure to keep doors closed and bolted so they don't come open on a breeze. Had a problem with door becoming stuck as we were returning from brekkie to leave but was resolved by niece's partner who is a builder. All really...

We stayed here during August as a family of four. It is a unique property with beautiful views from high looking out over the African bush. The family cottage was small for a family of four, with very little room for bags and moving around, and no seating area in the room. However, it was otherwise clean and comfortable. This lodge is 20 minutes away from the nearest Kruger gate with lots of opportunities to book tours with the property. Their two elephants are wonderful, and worth a visit for sure. We had 'full board' (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and the food was of good quality and plentiful. We were there on an evening when dinner was served in the boma, and our children really enjoyed it. The singing and dancing was a great performance under the stars. Overall, the staff were responsive to questions and requests, but not very warm or interactive. This lodge was enjoyable, but we paid more than US$350 per night and there are likely better options at that...

This is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. In a private game reserve, just next to the Kruger Park, on the top of a hill, so every room (that looks like a rock!) has a stunning view over the valley. The restaurant where you dine and have breakfast looks like a treehut, and also has the most magnificient view. The second night diner was served in the open air, in an African 'boma'. Really a place worthwhile. Check it out if you have ever get the chance.

I didn't stay here, my kids just did a horse back safari. BUT OMG what a stunning gem in the middle of nowhere. I will definitely book a week here soon. It was like living with the Flintstones except 5 star ❤❤
