For what we needed, we simply couldn’t fault it. There isnt much in the way of ‘restaurants’ in Udawalawe so we opted to have dinner at Falcons Nest which was delicious and filling. We also were presented with a Christmas Tree which with other guests, we duly decorated for them. My partner sadly was coming down with a cold from a rather wet hike the day before in Ella but the manager was having none of it and made her a local remedy tea. Two cups later and she is back to normal! I would also strongly strongly recommend organising a safari with the Falcons Nest as I can honestly say it was the best 4 hours I have had in Sri Lanka (you can do longer safaris too). Although not included, the manager was driving near to our next location and kindly offered to take us in his car. Talk about going the extra mile. This place will give you what you need for a brilliant...

Thank you Amil & family - we won’t forget our stay at the...
