The text is a little bit longer but only because i liked this place very much...
Stayed there for 5 days in november while offseason. First i wanted to go to passikudah but i was happy that i came there. The beach is very nice for meditation, big and developped well. Juda and his wife are very kind people. The room was clean (!!!), with bathroom and moscitonet. For some food you either walk 7 minutes to a nice indian restaurant (a lot of different food and not expensive) or they prepare or organise some local food for a very good price. Other places at the mainroad (10 minutes walk). Around is batticaloa and its nice lagoons. The way up to the lighthouse is beautiful and above you find a nice beach with only fishermen when you need a very calm beach. So even you dont come for meditation, you can find here a very nice place to stay cheap and some kind of basic but with all what you need to live :) Thanks again to juda...

The room and bathroom are neat. The room is quite small, but sufficient, mosquito nets over the beds. The common space is a table with chairs and a large fridge.

There is also not much place to unpack your things except for a small table. We also missed a kettle - we bothered our hosts (thank you for the boiling water and your patience!). 🧡 All these remarks are small and subjective.
We highly recommend this place. And the best recommendation is that we came for 2 nights...

When I got there, they took their time to explain what one can do in the area and for a general chat. They can arrange breakfast and dinner if needed. The rooms and the dinning room are clean. The mattress is very thin tough, so keep in mind if you are sensitive to hard beds. The house is literally 50 m from the beach and from the tsunami affected temple. I loved...
