K1 by Ceilao Villas — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We booked the villa for me and my partner because we wanted to treat ourselfs for the last few days in Sri Lanka and this was definitely a treat. We had an amazing time here. The outside part of the villa was always perfectly clean (they cleaned it when we went outside) and they never go unasked in your room. The breakfast was amazing. You can choose between western or sri lankian breakfast and they are both great. Besides you can order lunch and dinner (with a lot of options). What this villa makes the best is the staff. They are genuinely so kind and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Its very close to the beach, but honestly this villa has everything that makes you want to stay here all day.

The only feedback I could think of is that there is another villa behind ours and the guests have to walk past a little opening in your garden to get to their side. However the staff does everything to keep your privacy.

We stayed at K1 by Ceilão Villas for two nights and absolutely loved the experience. The villa is beautifully designed. Its spacious, stylish, and perfect for a group stay. Every corner feels calm and well thought out, creating the ideal atmosphere to relax and enjoy time together.

The food was incredible. fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. From breakfast to dinner, everything tasted homemade and full of care.

About the service , it was exceptional. The staff were so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm, always ready to help and make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay memorable.

Although it’s not right by the beach, the location is peaceful and close enough to explore Ahangama’s cafés and coastline easily. It’s the perfect spot for families or friends looking for comfort, great food, and wonderful service in a serene setting.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It’s located in a quiet coastal area, away from the noise, and the road to get there was smooth. The staff were incredibly helpful and available at all times — they assisted us with everything we needed, and the warm welcome when we arrived made us feel right at home. We were able to relax, swim, and enjoy every moment. The chef was amazing — the food was absolutely delicious.

The only suggestions we have are to add a few basics to the pantry, like a microwave, a small stove, and some plates or utensils in case the chef isn’t around. Also, the entrance of the villa could be improved for better privacy, especially for guests who wear hijab, as the current gate felt a bit too open. Other than that, everything was truly perfect and this villa definitely made our Sri Lanka experience special.
