Why a 3-star review — wi-fi missing, careless host’s response and 15 min checkin delay. Other things are good.

The host was smiling, my room was clean and as promoted except for one crucial thing for me - wi-fi. It was missing at all although promised in the listing. Moreover, Airbnb highlighted this feature.

That was the issue and unfortunately the host didn’t resolve it and even didn’t apologize. He was just smiling and saying “It’s Okay, no problem. It’s missing due to covid”. This is not acceptable.

I was trying to negotiate with the host but he didn’t care about it. So I requested a partial refund from Airbnb. However I’m not sure if Airbnb takes feedback like this seriously. Last time they didn’t.

Another thing was that my room wasn’t ready when I arrived. First the host offered me another room, without hot water. I had to show my booking where hot water was included. After 5 min he finally found my reservation and agreed to change the room but I had to wait about 15 min.

These two things resulted in this 3-star review (especially due to the host’s response to the wi-fi issue). Oh, and they didn’t provide a towel until I requested, and don’t expect a shampoo.
