Kumudu Holiday Home — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We were five girls who booked Kumudu Holiday Home for the weekend, and it was absolutely perfect — definitely not the last time we’ll stay here! The house is exactly as described and just like in the pictures. We didn’t miss a single thing during our four days; they had prepared everything for us — towels, soap, and all the essentials. There’s even hot water, which was a big plus!

The owner is incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, and we only had to pay once we arrived at the house, which felt very fair and relaxed. We even decided to stay an extra night because we loved it so much!

But the best part is the location — just a 2-minute walk and you’re right on the beach and in the center of Hiriketiya. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting...

I really recommend staying here. The owners of the property were available and kind, answered every question and provided everything we needed. They were waiting for us with a smile when we arrived. The property is really pleasant and beautiful, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect location, three minutes walk down a steep slope to Hiriketia beach, and about ten minutes to Dikvala. There is a outdoor shower, a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed with group of friends in Kumudu Holiday Home. It was an underwhelming experience for all of us. The house was not fully clean. The AC in the house is paid 15 usd per night! It is humid and hot, which makes it impossible to live without AC. Additionally the host is not very friendly. In this price I would choose different place to...
