People, please read the cons first.
Pros:
The moment we enter the receptionist area we were welcomed with loads of snacks and coffee is available. Lol like office pantry basically. It has microwave oven as well. We came half an hour early so we chose to wait till room ready. At 6pm they will replenish some instant noodle.. there's hot / cold water dispenser.
I like how they place those disposable amenities like combs/ toothbrush, shaver etc. U take whatever u want without needing to chase after the top up trolley. Shampoo and shower gel are stored in the in-built container at bath room. No conditioner though.
This place nearby is like Msia-JB- KSL, or like SG- Bugis Street.
Room is spacious, fridge is small. Bathroom have to be careful cuz thats a step high up. No power socket nearby bed.
Cons We were also introduce with bad news of check out time to be 11am. Anything after is chargeable at NTD 200 per hour. 11am is too early usually is 12pm isn't it?
Very hard to locate the hotel but just note that it's at level 10 will do. The building name is 爱活商旅 . And just like typical taiwan building this is old n moldy looking but interior is fine
This cons is the worst. For room service, they only do the minimum. Clear rubbish and top up toilet roll. Then why do u have the service trolley ? Earlier pros section mention amenities is provided and we can take on our own. Thanks much appreciated. But you don't even tidy the bed sheet? I have never been to a hotel that's don't even tidy bed sheet. I know it's simple just stretch out keep it neat. But also simple things also determine if job is done properly or not. To have over $150 per night and you don't even provide tidying the bed sheet for what ever reasoning you give is ridiculous
Not too sure of other rooms, my assigned room have to take one step up to the toilet.. I constantly feel like an...
Read moreThey want us to check out at 11am but didn't provide good room service. We came back after a long day out at 6plus evening to have the room not clean. We search for the cleaning staff and he haphazardly just clear our trash at the main area n toilet. Before he leave he asked us like as if we disturb him, "what else u need?" And i was like what about our towels? Then he stomp in to the toilet and top up like we owe him a living. My father have to chase after him for our tissue (yes he didn't top up) And for typical room service they only provide minimal. Top up new towels, tissue paper/toilet roll, change of garbage bag. That's it. They don't touch the bed at all. OK fine. The rest of the amenities can take on your own since there's a pantry-like area for you which is a plus point for me. I can take however n whenever I want. There's hot/warm/cold water dispenser and I rarely need to boil . Theres also a coffee machine for coffee lovers. And we are quite unlucky to have met a big family having book on the same hotel and they are making the place like a zoo etc. Their uncivilized manner to always bang the door when closing is persistent. Imagine you are dozing off and out of sudden a bang- to which is just one of them closing the door. Not just door, since they are in big group, being noisy is inevitable but they are like letting the children being noisy and don't care if others will be disturbed or not. With this, the receptionist did nothing unless we ask for help. The lift and hallway of this hotel have musty smell . The room are not soundproof, so be mindful of what you are doing hehe hehe. No safe box but not to worry since they don't clean room at all. Not worth to spend at this hotel I only like the free flow...

This hotel is truly a hidden treasure in Taiwan, and we can't wait for the opportunity to return. When we do, there's no question in my mind that I'll be booking a room here once more.
