I have been going to this hotel for over 4 years. it was wonderfull, I'm going in March 2017 and what a change !!!! New Direction, departure from GUILLAUMES .... You will always find Nana at the reception that will answer the least of your desideratas by means of her small commission ... .normal. For scooters our friend french Pierre was eject by the new hotel director !! Nana leases the scoots at Pierre but now not the same price !!! By days now it's 200 THB by day. It is far from the time when GUILLAUMES held the hotel ! The new Dutch director named SANDERS, you will find it from noon because it sleeps before. Especially do not ask him anything and do not wait for a hello !!! I had the chance to experience a request. I asked for fire to light a cigarette and he asked me 20 THB, it is not a joke and believe me it is the truth, I was amazed! Moreover, the time he spends at his hotel is not to take care of it but to play and tease his staff. It was surreal !!! A great thing, it's all but a hotel director rather a cartoon.
The French duty Manager Christian is very friendly and is not a manager, but rather a customer relationship. On the other hand if you have a problem, it has no power, and there is the story of the hot potato ... well. Also poor guy must see how the staff treat him it's amazing, not even the dog at the front desk is treated like that !!! The girls at the bar call them because their heads are more often in their phones than on you, If you need something, scream and you may be served, do not wait for the smile it is optional especially the afternoon. The pool OUT broken, all rooms old, insect and snakes, good for the change of scenery it's normal but i'm not in SURVIVOR !!! The only person who deserves and to whom I left on the stay ready to 1000 THB of tip and the lady doing the housekeeping as I could see that she work very very hard !!! Not like all those lazy people. Congratulations Mr SANDERS has made this hotel a dream, a real nightmare. You are an incompetent and you damage this...
Read moreI can only review on the restaurant section of this complex as we were only introduced to Cocco’s as a waiting point until our Villa was ready for occupancy. It was still mid-morning so we ordered coffee and a light meal. The open air restaurant/bar & pool area is very clean and the staff are really friendly. Wall mounted and free standing fans are in abundance, so it’s also a very cool area to sit and enjoy.||||As it was only a 5 minute walk from our Villa, we ate dinner most nights at Coccos (instead of cooking in the Villa) and found it to be reasonably priced for both Thai & western style food. You will need to be very precise when ordering food as most of the staff have very limited understanding of English and make sure to order your own meal by pointing to the picture and the dish number on the menu. I mention this only because one of our small group ordered all the meals on our behalf and there was a bit of confusion (we got too many dishes served which proved very expensive)||||There is also a taxi stand just across the lane from the resort which is a very convenient pick up/drop off point for most of the tours, as Cocco’s Resort is quite well known and has a good reputation. A taxi ride into downtown Pattaya or Jomtien Beach will cost between 200 – 300Baht. However, if you need to use the taxi service to go grocery shopping, be prepared to pay the driver an additional fee to wait for you whilst buying your groceries at one of the many stores up on the main street.||||Nanna (the manager) can also arrange many tours in and around Pattaya, but I’m not sure how her prices compare, as we did most of our own tour arrangements before leaving Australia and starting our holiday...
