We stayed at Kayra Hotel for one night on June 6th. Location is very good, so you will be close to bars, restaurants and stores. There is enough transportation around to take you to the most important places (airport, bus station, Atatürk memorial, Citadel) The room was reasonably sized even though I feel like travellers would benefiit from double sheets (one on matress, one on top). Read moreNEVER EVER EVER Think that your room in hotel is guaranteed. You can’t be sure that your place would be available when you arrive. Even though we have booked a room online, when me and my daughter arrived to Kayra hotel, they didn’t have a room for us. Their excuse was just insane !!! They said that they gave our room to other people. WHAT THE HECK ???!!! Are these guys crazy ? We had our luggage with us needing a rest after a loung journey and here we have a service providers fooling us. Seriously ???? I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The Bathroom floor and the shower floor were one and the same (literally) just the shower stall set on the bathroom floor. The water ran everywhere and made it very slippery, oh, and there were exposed wires in the bathroom so if you didn't fall and break something, you could at least be electrocuted. The pillows. were tiny and there was no cover. Do yourself a favor...
