Risus Aqua Beach Resort Hotel — Hotel in Kuşadası

I stayed here recently and was shocked and appalled. The place is filthy. So to start we arrived at the hotel and were brought to our room, the room wasn't great but we spent a lot of money for what was meant to be a 5 star hotel started very badly. The room was a disgrace. Dirty, ants all over the floor, in the bed, they were everywhere so me and my girlfriend said we are going back to reception to change the room. We got back to the reception area and changed the room, the nightshift team in reception are very nice, very helpful its just a shame everywhere else is bad. So we got a new room, not bad, much better than what we got originally so we went to sleep. Woke up the next morning to see what the breakfast is like and the food isn't great, there is a big choice of food but not a lot of it. A lot of people would take a lot and there wouldn't be much left for someone else. The lunch was the same, the chips were never cooked properly. Always soggy. The staff not friendly at all. Never coke zero. I always asked for coke zero and always got full sugar coke. The place didn't have a lot of options when it came to the food and drink department, the watermark is ok, the pools are big, plenty of choices for kids but the big pool closes at 5pm for cleaning, even though the cleaning doesn't start till around 10pm. Who closes a swimming pool at 5pm? Anyway the beach next to the hotel is very nice. We spent most of our time there or eating out because the food wasn't great. I decided then on Thursday that I will give the food another go because it couldn't be that bad all week. But soon after I felt very sick, pain in my stomach is horrible, puking and stuck to the toilet for the full day friday, we had a jeep safari tour booked and we couldn't even attend because I couldn't move from the toilet, money gone from my pocket. The woman that was cleaning our room, she was very nice. Always helpful. The WiFi there is non existent. I said it to them sunday that it doesn't work, they told me they will reset the WiFi and I heard that excuse for the full week. I had to ring my phone service and purchase a data pack. I loved Turkey, the shopping, the excursions and the beach but the hotel was a real let down, no entertainment at night either. The one time we saw a kids disco but there wasn't many kids there so that will tell you enough. I have never left a bad review in my life and I absolutely hate doing this but after the food poisoning and feeling sick still 4 days later I can't just do nothing. So the moral of the story is maybe choose a different hotel to this one as its not what it seems in...

⭐ 1 star (would give 0 if possible)||My wife and I stayed at Risus Aqua Beach Resort from 20/06/2025 to 30/06/2025 for what was meant to be our honeymoon — and it was honestly the worst hotel experience we have ever had.||This hotel is advertised as a 5-star resort but wouldn’t even qualify as 3 stars. Here are just some of the problems we faced:| • Our room was never cleaned once in 10 days, even though we kept asking.| • We were given one towel for the entire stay, which we had to share. No fresh towels, no beach towels — ever.| • The food was completely inedible and actually made my wife sick for two days. We ended up eating out almost every day, which cost us a lot of extra money.| • The only drinks available were beer and water — no soft drinks, cocktails, or anything else.| • The room smelled disgusting; staff tried to hide it by putting urinal mats over the drains.| • The room we were put in wasn’t the upgraded room we paid extra for — staff demanded even more money to move us into the correct one.| • The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all.| • Staff were rude and dismissive, ignoring us and serving locals first at the bar.| • TV didn’t work, smoke alarms were broken (a huge safety risk), and the lift was out of order most of the time.| • Light fittings were hanging off the walls and ceiling. Both rooms we saw were filthy.| • The air conditioning barely worked, making it almost impossible to sleep.| • The paths around the hotel had broken decking, and my wife fell — staff didn’t even check if she was okay.| • There was a constant foul smell in the reception area that made us feel sick.||We booked this as our honeymoon, and it caused us nothing but stress, disappointment, and unexpected extra costs. The photos and descriptions on booking sites are completely misleading.||Avoid this hotel at all costs — it is absolutely not what it claims to be, and it ruined what should have been a special...

I stayed at this hotel recently, and it was an absolute nightmare. The pool area was incredibly dangerous – the steps were broken with rusty nails sticking out, and I ended up cutting my foot open badly. I contacted Love Holidays with photos of the issues, including serious health and safety concerns, but they refused to change my hotel or offer a refund.||||The pool itself was filthy, and the entire hotel was poorly maintained. There were many other problems throughout the property that were unsafe and could potentially lead to even more serious accidents—one of which could have left babies at risk of drowning. This is NOT a place for families to stay, and I would highly advise against bringing children here.||||The games room was absolutely disgusting – so dusty you would need to wear a mask just to step inside, and it looked like birds could be forming nests from the ceiling. The condition was beyond unacceptable.||||To top it off, our balcony door was broken, and the front door was also faulty. The so-called "maintenance person" came with a spanner and simply bodged the wood to try and fix the door. This is certainly not a 5-star experience, and the lack of proper maintenance is shocking.||||The staff were rude, couldn’t speak English, and made it impossible to address the many issues. Despite showing Love Holidays the photos, they still seem intent on promoting this hotel, even with all the serious hazards. I will be seeking legal advice and support regardless, and I will never use Love Holidays again, as they’ve shown no care for customer safety or satisfaction.||||This hotel is a major health hazard.
