Ennywevvers — Hotel in Bristol

We stayed recently with our 1 1/2 year old daughter as needed somewhere affordable to stay a night whilst visiting family and thought camping would be fun. The campsite was in a great location very close to the city. The manager/owner was friendly. The actual site seemed like a little community and I'm sure there were some people who live their permanently. The site was very cluttered and we had to keep such a close eye on the little one because there was lots of things around for her to hurt herself on. The facilities are very basic. The spot that we were giving to pitch was extremely small, two other tents were less than 1 meter away from us. The main issue though was the noise,other campers were clearly there for partying and were playing music, drinking and talking loudly til past 2am, it's also next to a train line and the trains are very noisy. Went there for a private party. A really brilliant venue for a party. Full of very interesting artefacts. Which is a massive bonus for someone like me. It has a bar that you stock yourself or as in our case every one brings booze, which gives it a house party feel. Split into three sections/'rooms'. Dance floor with DJ stage (well little platform, but still), bar room with a massive variety of authentic period arm chairs and a chill out area with a very impressive 3 chambered wood burner (wood supplied). Absolutely horrendous. It’s a scary looking scrap heap!

We was meant to stay here for one night and I refused to get out the van.

There was no one around to speak to and it was awful. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here, it didn’t feel safe. I see someone has left a review about having a sauna, it sure does, with a toilet in the middle of it!!!
