If I could rate this hotel a -10, I would. There was mold everywhere, on the windows curtains, the bathroom, the a/c. We asked for a non smoking room, it smelled like someone smoked multiple packs of cigarettes in the room, and rubbed the ashes into the wet carpet. Yes, the carpet was wet. The bathroom door when you opened it, it was a strong pungent breath taking smell of cigarettes, so intense it would make you gag. The towels were stained and gross, we didn’t even have the correct amount or kind of towels we needed. We killed multiple roaches during our stay, and had to leave a day earlier because we couldn’t stand the conditions of our room, and was not healthy for our 2 kids. After leaving, me and my youngest son, who’s 5 months old both had problems breathing, we woke up coughing, and our eyes puffy, over all not feeling well. I had to rewash all of my family clothes even the clean ones because of the stench that stuck to them from being in the room. Not to mention the sketchy people who walk circles around the building CONSTANTLY. Me and my husband contemplated on staying at the days inn, from the bad things we’ve heard about, but decided to give it a chance. Worst mistake ever. And when bringing up these problems to the front desk people, the lady up front seemed nice, and shocked by us telling her part of our experience. But the manager didn’t say anything, and wouldn’t even look at us, and the other man said “I’m aware of the conditions” and basically shrugged it off. I’ve also been trying for 2 days to get a refund for my stay and the manager continues to ignore the request through Expedia. Which I will keep continuing to do every day till I get my money back. This place was so so gross. And needs to be reported, and I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau immediately. Not one part of this stary was anything like the picture and “good” reviews posted. We will not ever be staying there again!! 🤢🤢🤮🤮 Editing: Expedia finally got ahold of one of the hotel “managers” about my refund and the manager decided to lie to the Expedia customer service about the day we arrived at the hotel, and the day we left, and also saying they gave us another room to stay in. I called the hotel myself, and the “manager” claimed that they did not lie, and that we stayed in two different rooms that he was looking at the proof on the computer in front of him. Mind you we NEVER switched rooms. When I asked what room they claimed to have us in he had to go ask the other manger if he could give out that information, and trying to come up with a random room number to claim they put me in, and said that we were originally put in one room, an then put into another. When I asked him to confirm that with the house keeping schedule to see if they had to clean that room to have some proof or reason to lie about us being put in another room he said he was not giving me that information and he can neither “confirm or deny” that they switched us room. Which they NEVER did. Expedia tried to get talk to them TWICE and they still lied. In the middle of my stay I even had to ask for a new key card cause mine quit working. This place an it’s management is the WORST I have ever seen in my life when staying at a hotel. I have reported them to Expedia and my bank. An are reporting them to the bbb and health inspectors. To purposely deny, lie and cheat people out of their money is beyond what a “3” start hotel should EVER do. Edit: now I get a reply to my review. An even told you that Expedia contacted days inn, twice. They finally go through to a “manager” who lied about what rooms we stayed in, our arrival time and date. When asking for y’all to contact Expedia an give them the correct information. You denied continued to lie. YES. I went through my third party app Expedia to get a refund. Expedia request for me a refund. An Days Inn management was the one to deny it and lie about my stay, an deny my refund. The Days Inn manager has to approve the refund on their end when the third party app requests one, until they I can’t get a refund.

The manager was extremely kind when I arrived asking for a room that wasn’t too close to others since I am an intern in Gadsden. The issue started on the second day when the male housekeeper was overly inquisitive about my stay. He asked me on my way to my car if I was leaving already. I informed him that I was running an errand and would return back. The next day I could hear him and his wife outside my room at 9 in the morning talking loudly. Then, he knocks on my door saying “house keeping.” I informed him that I didn’t need service that day. Two days pass and I call the desk and ask for service (clean my room, make the bed, and provide me new towels) when I came back from interning my room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and reported it. The guy wife, I assume who is also a housekeeper seen me outside and rolled her eyes and then stated, “folks talking about I’m not doing my job and cleaning their rooms.” She then, lied and told from desk that I was being too “demanding” because I was reporting her neglecting to clean my room only twice a week. When I tried speaking to her and her husband, he spoke.. she, however, was walking behind him as if she wanted to fight. So, I kindly went into my room. I was at the hotel for only two weeks. The manager then calls me to the service desk and becomes upset at me, saying that my hair products (hair dye) was ruining his pillows and that it cost about 20.00 to replace. He stated that he gave me the room and was hoping that I would do right. I was shocked to say the least and apologize for the inconvenience to the pillow. I’m adding photos to the room that I had. It was not cleaned when I got there. & did not have a clean smell to it. I kept the room Lysol while I was there. I even tried calling him suggesting that he go behind the housekeepers to ensure that they are cleaning the rooms. He did not respond to my suggestion. Instead, he sat the phone down and started helping other guests as if I wasn’t on the phone. They claimed that they didn’t have a vacuum to vacuum the floors in the room, and they never cleaned my tub out while I was here, or kept the toilet tissue and rags and towels replaced. They got upset that I called downstairs about the stained bedding that was placed on my bed. It looked like urine stains. They claimed that it was clean, but the stains just didn’t come out. Then, told me since I’m staying for two weeks, they wasn’t going to clean my room every day, yet, the manager showed me how they were getting paid claiming that they cleaned my room daily. I had to sleep with urine stained bedding’s. The money that you spend at hotels, you deserve top of the line service. I will not be returning back to this hotel, again! One experience was enough for me. Very unprofessional close to the end of my stay! Save yourself the trouble and go to comfort inn, or other hotels in Attalla! You’re welcome.

This hotel is a scam overpriced , the room looks nothing like the pictures it’s very nasty the have a sewage problem that stink up the lower floors, they open the pool when they want to even though they have a sign posted for 10:30 am , the manager is very rude he has orange hair and an orange beard very short and little that explains a lot , he would not help even got angry that I reported issues that he knew about before I purchased the room , he doesn’t want to go by Days innn policy’s he wants to run days inn like he owns the company and he is causing bad business for days inn corporation..please view rooms in person before you spend your money they will scam you and then make up a crazy excuse afterwards. Hotel is horrible this is an honest review . Not safe , if you report any issue or problems the manager will get Lou’s with you and argumentative and will try his best to make your stay uncomfortable and complicated also the short whit lady in the front with the dark black short hair lied to me and said they were no room available but the manager said they’re was , she did not want to walk me the room that I asked for which was scary to me because she did not know me enough to have that animosity towards me , and I can just wonder how many other people she has done that to .

Mediocre at best. I have stayed at this motel a few times. It is usually clean. However there is always something that does not work. I have had no TV at least 3 separate occasions. The shower has been leaking or broken at least twice. The refrigerator was not working at least twice. Most of the plugs were damaged & unusable. I have complained about the issues each time. I don’t think anything was ever fixed. They seriously need to change all of the plugs so that they will at least hold a decent connection and work. Housekeeping needs to make sure the bathrooms are clean. I have had to clean the bathroom only once but I should never have to clean it upon arrival period. My last stay I rented my room on separate platforms. I was woken by the maid beating on the door at 2 minutes past checkout. I was exhausted. I told her it was rented for another night. She called the front desk and they said it was not rented. She became rude about vacating the room. I had to walk to the office to get it straightened out. The man that rented me the room was the same man that told her I had not. I wanted to sleep in that morning. It was the only reason I had rented the room another night. I had been exhausted from moving the last 3 days. I have never been compensated in anyway for any of the issues from Wyndham in any way. The worst night I have ever had at a motel was in a Wyndham located in Marietta, Georgia. I had never seen bed bugs in my life until that night. I was even refused a refund of $176 because I had checked in & been there for over 2 hours. My friend & myself were tired from our day at Whitewater. After unpacking the car I sat down & fell asleep. She laid down across the bed & fell asleep. However she woke u to use the bathroom & screamed. I jumped up to see what was going on. She had a bug run across her shoe. I then checked the bed & what I seen still sickens me till this day. I immediately went to the front desk & asked for a refund. I was told they could not grant me one. I was offered to be moved to another room. I did not want another room at that motel. The infestation was extremely bad. Bugs were noticeable outside the door, the walkway & the elevator. I learned a hard lesson that night. I learned I needed to check the rooms well before unloading my car. It cost me $176 for the room I lost, $92 on laundering all of my clothes, $200 on fumigating & cleaning my car. I cut my trip short & had to go home due to the mess. It also made me very sick. I lost money for the passes at whitewater of almost $200; I got to only use once, I lost another $150 on tickets I had purchased for an escape room. It cost me almost $1000. Due to this I have not been able to even afford to go again so my season passes I purchased have been a total loss. It absolutely ruined my vacation. Then to have to move weeks later & experience the Wyndham in Attalla, AL (on Cleveland AVE) has absolutely been all I can possibly take from Wyndham. At one time they were rated one of the top motels, they need to be a bit more selective when it comes to allowing a business to associate with their brand. From everything I have endured in the last few months they could offer me a vacation package, with tickets to a theme park for a few days, a gas card & cover some of my food cost. That might come close. The motel had better be what one should expect it to be. I would certainly do another review to let the public know the outcome. Thank...
