Falkenstein Castle — Hotel in Burnet

Made reservations here 6 months in advance of our 25th anniversary through Vrbo. I constantly tried to contact them and was told by Vrbo that the host would contact me closer to the date. Decided to reach out through any means necessary today and finally heard back from the owners that they no longer accept reservations from vrbo. They are not clear in their website that they don't allow the public to check out the venue and yet they are advertising that they host events. It's dumb because how would you book an event if you are not allowed to see the place prior to booking. It was a total waste of time driving...
