I was really disappointed with my stay at this location. When I arrived, the room was in terrible condition — the bed was unmade with pillows and blankets scattered across it, dirty towels were on the floor, and dishes were sitting in the sink. It was clear the unit hadn’t been cleaned or prepared for a guest. When I reported this, I was told housekeeping would come, but no real effort was made to make up for the inconvenience. I was given a small discount, but honestly it felt minimal compared to the situation and the level of disruption it caused. To make matters worse, as we stepped outside to wait for the cleaners, we ran into another couple who were also locked out of their unit for the same reason — their place wasn’t ready either. Overall, this experience was frustrating and far below the standards I expected from Mint House. For the price and reputation, I expected a room that was clean and ready at check-in, and better customer service when things went wrong. ****update**** After leaving for several hours to allow housekeeping to clean, I returned three hours later to find the room still untouched. I then spent another 30 minutes on the phone with customer service, and when I asked to escalate to a supervisor, I was told it would be another 30 minutes before anyone could contact me. At that point, I requested a full refund and had to scramble to book another hotel at the last minute. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend staying at this property.

The floor to ceiling windows give an unparalleled view of the Dallas skyline. The building overall was very nice, has a great little coffee shop inside and nice pool with hot tubs. Restaurants and shopping were within walking distance, and most of the rest of downtown is a trainstop or two away (the Victory train station is a 10 minute walk and train is only $3). Apartment was clean, staff responsive. The blinds do not do a good job of blocking out the light of the city at night, but I kept them open most of the time anyway because it was magical waking up in the night to that view. It is a city setting so be aware it is very noisy at all times of day and night. Maybe bring a sleep mask and a noise machine if those things will bother you.

The check in process was a total headache. Multiple travelers were confused about how to access their key fobs. I finally got to my room at 3:08pm after being denied an early check in and opened the door to a completely dirty space. I called the customer service number who had me on hold for 15 minutes “getting in touch with the on site team”. First she said “we are sending someone over now to clean it for you”, then she stated “after they finish cleaning another room”. I was denied any alternative open rooms and denied any sort of compensation for the trouble when I directly asked what Mint House could do to rectify the situation. Never again! Beware!! UPDATE: They did refund me fully which I appreciate.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Locale Victory Park - Dallas, which I feel compelled to share. My stay, which was initially planned with much excitement, was cut short due to unexpected illness. Given the circumstances, I was unable to fully utilize the services and amenities I had paid for. In light of this, I reached out to their customer support team, hoping for a gesture of goodwill in the form of a partial refund for the days I couldn't stay.

Regrettably, my request was met with a strict and inflexible response. The support team showed no compassion or understanding for my situation. I was not asking for a complete refund or a change of stay, but merely some consideration for the unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstance that led to my early checkout.

The refusal to provide any form of partial refund was not just a financial disappointment but also a stark revelation of the lack of empathy in their customer service. Hospitality, in my view, extends beyond just providing a place to stay; it encompasses understanding, flexibility, and support for your guests, especially in times of need.

This experience has left me deeply upset and disheartened. The rigid adherence to policy without room for human discretion has tainted my view of Locale Victory Park - Dallas. I had hoped for a more humane and understanding approach from a reputed establishment. My experience serves as a reminder that sometimes, rigid policies can overshadow the essence of true hospitality and...

We absolutely love traveling to stay here BUT we’ve had such an awful experience this stay. Our last stay was so good we couldn’t wait to come back again. We even upgraded our room this time to have a better experience. Upon arrival, we entered our room and found that it had not been cleaned. We were moved rooms (on a different floor, to a smaller room than we paid for) for that night. The next day we had to move all of our things back to the room that was originally not cleaned. The room was cleaned and we enjoyed the next few days. On our third day we came back from lunch to our room door open and tools in front of it. A door in the bedroom was apparently being repaired because an order had been put in a few weeks prior. No one informed us someone would be coming into our room to work. We stayed 7 days and the last 3 days we were there the pool was under construction and did not open up the rest of our stay. The pool is one of the main reasons we stay here especially in the middle of the summer. Pool maintenance started Tuesday and we didn’t check out till Friday. We even Considered going home a day early because we didn’t have a pool to enjoy in the heat of summer. We love it here so much but definitely for the price we paid for a week, it’s not been a great experience this trip. I don’t know that we will stay here again. The first night when we arrived to a dirty room Our parking fees were comped for the inconvenience but still left us feeling really upset about our...
