I stayed at the mint house on two occasions. The first time our door code wasnât correct and no one is on site to assist and it took over two hours to get access to our room making us two hours late for dinner.
The second time I stayed there a few weeks later, we reported 3 expensive items left in the room then within an hour of checking out requested cleaning service be advised to recover our 3 items. No one ever called us and we called every day for the first week and their customer service team could care less promising to escalate it resulting in a whole lot of nothing. We then asked to meet with the cleaning service Director as clearly they have a problem with theft and honesty in their cleaning staff or they have no policy to maintain custodial care of property left in a room but either way emphatically management could care less and I donât think they even filled out a personal property alert for the cleaning service. Itâs virtually impossible for three items to all completely go missing from a room where they were notified hours later and they simply have a dishonest cleaning staff and do not maintain accountability to their guests .
I own 10 Airbnb and mint house Denver single-handedly gives a black eye to the entire industry with no on-site customer service and their national customer service team and cleaning service and management are completely disconnected and unempathetic to...
Read moreI wasnât sure who to notify, but we discovered a couple unhygienic spots on the hideaway couch bed my son slept in last night. As I got it out and got some bedding, there was a small bloody stain as well as a big brown stain. Please see pictures. We were mortified as was my son. We used towels and bedding to cover it up so he could sleep on it. It was very obvious the mattress/bedding was filthy and hasnât been changed or washed. Please do better and improve for future residents. It was very unfortunate and gross. Also when we arrived and did the check in process and went to the room to get the parking pass, the parking pass did not work for the garage door. Therefore we were waiting for 25-30 minutes to try and get into the parking garage. We were on a time crunch to get to the Rockies game. I called the telephone number provided which was a process cuz itâs a third party. They had to reach out to get someone to assist us within the area. Luckily, we were able to follow another car into the garage and park. A gal found us in the garage to give us a new parking pass, but it was very inconvenient since there was no one at the front desk to help us. When you pay $50 for a pass, it should work and there should not issues getting parked. Other than this, we were happy with the room and location of the Mint...
Read moreThe hotel is located downtown, close to restaurants, a train station, and grocery stores like Whole Foods. Our room was facing northeast, so we had a good view. The drawback is that since the hotel sits near the rail tracks, you tend to hear the trains rolling in, which is soothing or can be annoying, depending on you. The room's layout was nice and modern, as you see in the picture. It's a pretty big room!
These are things that need improvement.
Check-in - I ran into a bit of difficulty. Before you checked in, you had to do a selfie scan; the process was supposed to have been sent via email, which we did not receive. Had to call customer support, and that went well!
Bathroom - the sink drain was not good. So, if you needed to brush your teeth or needed to wash something, you had to do it in the tab.
Cleanliness - I guess it was clean enough. I just noticed it was dusty on the couch. I know this because I started itching when I lay down. Had to get some beach towels from the closet and lay them down as seat covers.
Overall, the experience was good, and I will most likely book again there...
