Hampton Motel — Hotel in Hampton

If I could give less than one star I would! I'm on my second of a four night visit.

Upon check in room wasn't clean. Writing all over walls, walls and doors in general need to be cleaned due to general build up of dirt and where someone had wiped stuff on walls. I actually had to go and purchse Clorox wipes to clean out fridge before I could put bottled water in it.

Day 2 room has no toilet paper and I can't get anyone in the office to come to answer the door so I can get some. I call the number listed for the motel.. sent to voicemail.

Day 3 I could not get anyone to answer the office door again so I packed out things and booked a room in Eldorado. I had to leave the key in the room since there wasn't anywhere to return it.

Overall this place is a joke! I would rather drive an hour one way to visit than stay here. It's was pretty convenient right around the corner from my dads and only $65 a night (but that was the only good thing). It needs a serious overhaul if they plan on staying open. I would suggest that whomever owns it either hire someone new to stay and look over it or explain to the person currently employed that without customers a business will not remain a business. I don't know about the remaining rooms, but room 2 needs to be deep cleaned and remove the mildew carpet from the bathroom. A little elbow grease...

The light in the second room didn't work the whole time and they already knew ang did tell us. But I was so desperate for myself and 2 children a place to stay we accepted it. The room was $75 a night and in my opinion should have been cheaper. When we went to leave the women acted like they didn't want to give me a refund for the one night we wouldn't be there. But the man did give e us our one night's worth of money back. I will definitely find somewhere else to...

Motel owner is a complete Crook. My wife left a bag in the room on checkout. The owner wouldn't release her property. Instead informed her of a hole in the wall (somewhere in the black mold growing). He would only release her property if we gave him 100 dollars cash. Had to call the police dept. they were familiar with the guys schemes. Complete scam....
