THE BEST CHRISTMAS GET-AWAY! What a location and vacation house! I usually host Christmas every other year at my house for my kids and grandkids. Well. This year, we spent our first Christmas "away from home" in 37 years, at Serenity Shores. I can honestly say after the time our entire family spent there, I will never host Christmas at my house again! We LOVED our holiday experience in the amazing house we rented. It was as if someone asked every mom, "What is most important to you in a rental house?," gave those answers to Serenity Shores, and, as a rental vacation community, they nailed everything on that list!

We had a party of 11. Inside, we thoroughly enjoyed the clean, well thought-out home complete with its 5 large bedrooms (each w/a king bed) and 1 bedroom with 4 bunkbeds (each a double or queen!). Each bedroom had a large screen TV. There were also 6.5 spacious bathrooms, including one with a large free-standing soaker tub on the main floor. (Heaven!)

We spent most of our time in the huge vaulted great room (with its large flat screen TV as well), completely decorated for Christmas with a grand tree as well as other holiday decorations. Seasonal decor also adorned the spacious kitchen and half bathroom. The kitchen was very organized, well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, and other various necessary kitchen tools and had plenty of prep space and eating areas. We created a "Hot Cocoa Bar" and a cookie frosting station on its counters our family enjoyed all week. Downstairs, the spacious game room (w/its large TV and sleeper sectional) was the perfect environment for our "Ugly Sweater Christmas Party" Christmas Eve and our family acting out a live nativity, Christmas Day. Special memories. Both.

Outside, there was a hot tub, which was quite the hit and got plenty of use! We also enjoyed some of the community amenities. Based on the season we were there, this included time spent in the arcade game room as well as on the miniature golf course and pickle ball court. Truly - great amenities.

At one point we thought we needed a dvd player for a movie we brought up (NOT currently available on any movie platform). A dvd player was delivered to us the next morning, and, although we ended up not using it, we so appreciated such customer service and care!

We loved our time spent during the cold, foggy days of December, but also realized that many of the amenities at Serenity Shores would be fully realized and enjoyed in the summer, so.......we cannot wait to go back then to enjoy them!

Bottom line - we had a magical Christmas and made the best of memories during the holidays at...

This was our 12th stay with the Faria family. It would be hard to top our previous visits, but Serenity Shores, Lysa and Lance delivered a new best-ever Table Rock experience. The accommodations are brand-new, high quality, and in great condition. This location has amazing views everywhere you look, a host of brand new, first class, and well kept amenities. We played mini-golf, pickleball, used both pools, had a bonfire, took family walks, boated, hung out at the dock and marveled at the lake views, sunrises and sunsets. Our 7 bedroom home had all we needed to cook great meals and gather our large family. The golf cart was great and very handy for getting around the property and visiting the very nice dock. The on-site managers, Lysa and Lance, kept in touch by text throughout the week to make sure all was great. There were a couple of very minor issues that Lysa took care of almost instantly. And there is a nice grocery store 5 minutes away! A couple of considerations for families with older folks and members that have physical challenges: the path to the dock and the streets between levels of the resort are steep and require some effort getting up or down. To assist with the path to the dock, the resort provides very helpful walking sticks and rest-stop benches along the way. The top level oval and the streets along the lower rows of houses are all pretty level and great for easy strolls. Our family has been to Table Rock every year for over 50 years and we’ve stayed at every level of accommodation the area has to offer. Our stay at Serenity Shores is already booked for next year. For us there’s no...

Thank you, Serenity Shores, for being the most perfect getaway for our family this Holiday season. You’ve thought of everything to ensure our trip is focused on fun and family. The lodge we stayed in had a magical feeling as we walked in and saw the fireplace going and a beautiful Christmas tree lit up in the living room. We all gathered in that room over the next few days to read Christmas books, do puzzles and watch Holiday movies together. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to make cinnamon roll pancakes together. We were thankful for nice weather so we could enjoy putt putt golf and shuffleboard just steps outside our door. My son loved the game room and couldn’t believe it was “free play”! With the nice weather we were able to chill in the hot tub infinity pool area and enjoy the views. The kids even got brave and did a few polar plunges in the pool. They’re still talking about it!

Serenity Shores is an ideal Christmas getaway with its close location to Shepherd of the Hills and Silver Dollar City, both having their own Christmas activities to enjoy as a family.

Lastly, we were glad to have the market so close to the lodge as we often cooked meals together and had to make a few trips for groceries.

Thank you for making this such an easy check in/check out process. You truly care about making everyone feel welcome. We will remember this time together and look back on the photos and remember all the fun we had together. Looking for are to coming back to enjoy...
