Formerly a Days Inn, this is a classic old motel, style is long rows of doors on a balcony. LOCATION: It is neither in town or on I10, it is by itself out here. Built near the bank of the S. Llano River, so the overlook semi-scenic in some directions, otter direction is a view of the I10 bridge, but is next to an a busy-noisy old hwy FM 2963/Martinez St. ROOMS: Old ugly dark burnt orange patterned carpet and bed spread, dark burnt orange painted wall to match. PRO’S Very nice, friendly lady the runs the place. Clean Room (at least mine was). Low price. $47 to $65’ish. CONN’S Older hotel in need of a makeover. Some rooms better than others. Breakfast: Carb only. Off brand cereal, toast, bagel, plus coffee and bananas. Online prices don’t match price charged at the location. Some complained of the stench of cheap air freshener in their room. Air Conditioner controls temperamental. Air Conditioner blows up the Curtains. Had to put a seat cushion in the window and prop something to hold - it in so the AC would blow into the room. Had no hot water. They didn’t bother to tell us when we checked in that the boiler had been down so a cold shower at 10 pm after hiking all day. Was ok at 8 am. Towels: of our 3 rooms – one room, only 2 hand towels, mine no wash cloths, other only bath towels. Toilet Paper: one room had none, no rooms had a spare roll. Facial Tissue: none in any room dispenser. Soap/Shampoo: Some had soap, some did not, none...

Poor customer service, rude staff, dirty room, charged me twice and couldn’t put it back. There was no coffee for the coffee maker in the room, when I went and asked for some Lathan, a hotel staff member, said they were out but I could have coffee from the breakfast bar. I said your out in there can you make some more, he said no it’s too close to closing time. So no coffee in the room and you won’t make an exception and make more coffee in the breakfast bar. He said no, coffee in the room is not guaranteed. I said then why is there a coffee maker in the room if you don’t have coffee for them. He said he didn’t know if there were coffee makers in the room. I said yes there are, in every room, I’ve been coming here for years, always stay at this hotel. He said congratulations. I told him that he was rude and not to get a smart mouth with me and he rolled his eyes at me and scoffed. He said I don’t know, I just work here. I said you work here, I am a paying customer and this is how you speak to your guests? He said he didn’t have any coffee except the big Folgers container for the breakfast room and he couldn’t give that out. Then he walked away…just walked away and left! When I told management, they seemed unconcerned with the staff attitude. Well I will never be back! I paid $100 for that?? Never again! You have lost...

I don't like to share negative comments but this was not my greatest experience at an econo lodge hotel. Ive stayed at many others around the states and never been disappointed until this time. The room was dirty, had food crumbs on bed and in blankets. Blankets had stains all over them and carpet had stains everywhere and not vacuumed at all. Looked like someone had thrown up next to dresser and no one cleaned it up in days. When we asked for clean Blankets we could here someone scream in background," It is clean I cleaned it myself", but the room shows different. There was a set of dirty sheets in cabinet just thrown in there. When we left the following morning to do our planned activities we returned to our room and nothing have been cleaned and the trash was not taken out. Nothing was done. Break fast serves old fruit to we're bananas were completely brown and started to rot. Orange juice holders was dusty and dirty. Crumbs were all over open utensils and no napkins insight. Coffee was out and other guest had to make new pots on their own and there other foods needed refills but no staff was ever around to check. We had to go out for breakfast. This place has a great location and much potential but it needs to be taken care of. And...

I booked and paid for my room on Expedia. When I got there, the unfriendly receptionist said she couldn’t tell if I paid for my room or just reserved it before getting there. I had indeed already paid for my room. Checking the system to see if I have paid shouldn’t be rocket science. I got to my room, upset that she may have charged my card a second time for the room, and the sheets in the bed were visibly dirty. (I will post a picture). The breakfast was a joke and then when I went to check out I had to have someone call the receptionist who came down in her pajamas to check me out. This place was completely unprofessional from start to end.

Upon check-in, there was was confusion with our reservation so it took a while, but she got it worked out eventually. When she was helping me, the phone rang, and she exclaimed, "Jesus!" and grabbed the phone without addressing me. The public areas were not clean, but our room was cleaner (though certainly not the cleanest we've seen). You can see photos of hair and toilet bowl. It was quite large, the bed was comfortable and shower was good. The "breakfast" is an apple and packaged danish. There are definitely better lodging options in Junction but they do cost more.

What a DUMP!! Dirty entrance, lobby & parking lot. Nasty elevator, hallways smelled gross. Broken toilet seat, room AC took forever to work & no bathroom ventilation. Grass around property is overgrown (look out for snakes!), dirty pool area. Went to front desk many times, no one bothered or cared to show up. Needless to say, won't be staying here again.
