We stayed there on July 3-5, 2015. This was the only motel that we could find (starting 2 weeks before the 4th) and I booked it. There was only one review on another forum that I could find and it was terrible, but I figured they were just hard to please or something so I booked anyhow.||Upon arrival, we checked in at the office and did not enter the room as we had to get to our destination. We arrived back at the room at approx. 11:30 pm. ||Our room that was booked as a single king bed and non-smoking, turned out to be a room with 2 double beds and an ashtray sitting on the ice bucket.||The smell in the room was HORRIBLE. ||We discussed it, but decided to stay since there were absolutely no other hotels available anywhere around and this place was full as well. There was just no place to go.||I took off my shoes and socks and found the carpet to be filthy. I might as well have walked around in the gravel parking lot outside. I laid down in the bed and looked up in the corner and saw where someone had spit or did something that had run down the wall about 3 feet. ||The beds were clean, but bedspread had cigarette burn holes in several places.||The air conditioner was loud, but you could still hear the shower running in the bathroom with the door mostly closed because it leaked so badly.||In the morning, my wife yelled for me to come and turn on the shower because she could not turn the knobs. With both hands I finally got them turned on. 90 seconds into the shower she let out a whoop....the water had turned cold. My shower was also cold since any hot water had all been used.||You could read a newspaper through the towels and wash cloths.||There were 2 baby bars of soap in the room...no shampoo or any other personal items.||Mirrors and walls were filthy. ||All room service did was make the bed after the first night and they DID leave 2 clean towels and wash cloths. That was it. Didn't touch the floors or empty the waste basket. ||As I stepped outside to load the car for our departure, I looked up and saw the wood balcony above me. WOW rotten wood and exposed nails. This is going to be the next news report of a balcony collapsing with people on it. I was glad we were on the ground level. But, I wouldn't have stood under it if someone were above me on the balcony/walkway to the upstairs rooms.||All in all we survived, but it was NOT a pleasurable stay at all and I would have left this place if there had been ANYWHERE...

They only accept cash; which I thought was strange but found out later why. So they can not refund you!!! We came in on a Sunday afternoon, had to call and wait for someone to come to office to check us in. Keys were laying all over the window sill for rooms that I assume we're checking out. We unloaded our bag into the room and left for day. Return around 11p and was unable to get into our room. Attempted to get in contact with someone to assist without any assistance. No luck!!! Ended up driving to another town to stay. Called the next morning, explained what happened and requested entry into the room (since it had all of our belongings including prescriptions). Got there again no one there, key did not work. They finally came used a master key to let us in stated don't know why you had problems. A manager came tried our key and guess what it did not work!!! He laughed about it. Now keep in mind we drove 16 miles to find another hotel, had to drive back to get our belongings. They offered No Refund for their mistake by giving us the wrong key! Do not recommend, never...

be sure to check all weather reports before you make a reservation. I had reservations for memorial day weekend then storms were predicted so I called on the Tuesday before to cancel, no one answered so I called Wednesday and no answer but I did get a return call. I asked about cancelling (nothing on the website about cancellation policy) and I was told "actually the last day to cancel was yesterday." I was told well most places you have to give a week's notice to cancel, in reality most hotels (which is what this really is) have a 24 hour cancelation policy. I was very disappointed and I will never stay there again. Cheap price sometimes get you...
